    Useful trick I found:
    4P+G if you know/think your opponent is going to get up with a rising kick PT towards their back and on certain characters who's rising kick is linear from that position you'll end up behind them for a back throw!

    Try it out in the Dojo, set up the comp to get up with a rising kick, do the Checkmate throw, thow in a well timed PT and BAM!
    back throw.

    You can get a Back Throw in th same situation by using 2 offensive steps as well.

    I ment that it's not common for an opponent to try and highthrow after 6p has been guarded from my experience since Brad has 6pk and ducking/slipping/everything will avoid a highthrow so the point of it being good RN (avoiding a nitaku of mid/throw) to go into a canned slipping from it is sort of mute. Loads of Brads know of this and as such 6pg is becoming very normal. I was/wanted to talk about, imo, real RN situation, canned movement optionsituations aren't since they often change the properties of the move going in etc.

    Btw the thing you mentioned about 4p+g. In the blackbook DVD Brad vs Eil team finalmatch the Brad player does 4p+g>PT P+K (backstagger)>66p+k,p>SR K. I haven't been able to duplicate it and it's driving me mad. It looks hella sweet.

    Yo, this is DancingFighterG. quesiton on fuzzy guarding with Brad. What moves do all of you fuzzy guard after with Brad? Obviously it has to be a move that is safe on block which give you enough time to enter in the fuzzy guard. For example moves like 4P, K.

    6_K, 4pk, 6p+k, OM P guarded, 2k+g (normalhit)

    It would be really nice if Brad players would post some of the strats/ strings/ combos that they have come up with so far.

    What do all of you Brad players out there like to do?

    46p+g>OM P > 33pp > Combo
    46p+g>dash>4k+g,k>mixups (still not sure how easy this is to combine with 6646k+g against someone who stays down)

    It seems to me like two switches in clinch gives a guaranteed 33pp (I tried this by putting the comp to guard and counter with mid and then doing SL K > 3K > clinch > switches > 33p) due to new system

    Feels like people are so afraid of Brad's new LD so Ducking K can/should be used more often in conjunction with the sabaki. On guard fuzzy/p/ete, mostly fuzzy. If sabaki whiffs, delay rising by holding 2G just a bit longer.

    Btw Brads 6_K; 4pk>ducking K gives more damage damage then the earlier recommanded combolist 66p+k,p>SRK and much better okizeme. Dunno if this has been said.

    SRK CH > 66p+k,p>SRK giving 75dmg is a beast compared to evo damage on the move. On guard i's -1 so Brads P (11 frames) will win against an opponents elbow back which is a nice mixup.

    rant_mode = off

    Yo, this is DancingFighterG. Kiwe, your right about LD. People get nervous about and the best thing about options of LD is that the PPP is safe for fuzzy, 6P+K is great at range, and of course P+K for a stagger. Question though on the fuzzy though. So for example say you do LD->P,P,P and I want to fuzzy do I input the fuzzy right after the last P in the PPP get's blocked can I enter in earlier. I don't think I can so my only option is this:

    LD->P,P,P, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif,2

    Assuming that a person does not hesitate to kill the fuzzy!!

    Also, what is the best way to use PH? The computer hits me out of that shit everytime unless I have advantage. The dodging capability of this move is good but only if you have in point timing. Hard to do in a match. I personally like to use PH during advatange with a mid hit. Also, I been trying to tech role and then go right into PH to dodge things. I've seen this in a video but when I do it it seems slow. Any pointers if this is possible to do faster?

    Yo DancingfighterG this is KiwE

    You can't fuzzy with 2G at -6 it has to be the crouchdash variant at that much diss aka 33G. At -5 you can but not at -6. I personally don't find much use in LD>PPP, the real threat is ducking knee against someone who crouches (very easy to hitscann) combined with the P+K guardbreaker.

    Some thoughts on LD PPP;

    It's mainly there imo to discourage the opponent from doing an attack straight into the shit cause it's his fastest attack by far at 12 frames and will float on MC. It's important to hitscann since it's 3 highattacks in a row but you can go into ducking / sway after the second one. This means that you can do LD PP>ducking P+K sabaki and catch someone trying to 2p into your 3 hit highstring with the correct timing. Most of the time it's simply best to stop after 2 or even one if you hitscann and then fuzzy from there, accepting you guessed wrong. You need to make some mixups here and there, for instance if opponent likes to 2p after the first hits on guard you do LD P>446k+g or LD P>446p etc. If he's passive you can stop after first one on guard and throw probably.

    Brad needs A LOT of experience cause he has so many things with such different range so the key is to be in your opponents face all the time, or being able to threathen them while they can't you. The use of PT as well as slipping is something that just comes with a lot of experience. PT kills of a bit of the threat they have in mid/long distance cause you can always move sideways like an evade from your slipping so it's more safe to threathen with the big SL K +adv kick etc. That being said Brad can really by raped by delayattacks if you just PT all over the place in neutral situations etc and if you're really up close the risk/reward ratio is probably not worth it in most cases as compared to other poking and 0-frame throws. I mostly use it like you do probably, coming in with 4k+g/4k etc from a distance etc. Using these tools against a real opponent though is VERY different from using them against the AI. What works against the AI doesn't work in versus and vice versa.

    Hi guys if it not to much trouble could you use the P,K,G Icons when your posting info as it makes it so much easier to read, instead of having to imagine the number pad on a keyboard.

    Cheers

    Yo, this is DancingFighterG. Good points Kiwe. I would agree that using PT as an evasive tools will take A LOT of time. Like you I use PT from faraway using 4K+G or 4K to hit and then PT. Since LD, P is a very fast move I noticed used SL K for +5 advantage into 6P+K+G,6->D,6->LD, P is a good away to start pressure with LD. I typically hit scan before I go into Ducking after 4K+G but this move is pretty good on block as well. It also gives you access to the P+K sabaki so you can stop 2P. What are your opinions on using LD?

    We know it's you DancingFighterG. We can see your name and avatar directly to the left of your post..

    Thanks to everybody for the Brad help, it is much appreciated! Does anyone have any good YouTube subscriptions for high level Brad play?

    DancingFighterG's intro rocks, i'm sorry.

    Not to be an anus, but he won't change it for you. He's been making sure you know exactly who he is for years.

    I must commend daps for that.

    Ok..Just seems silly, but if he's been rockin' it for years, I'll tip my cap to him. I'm new here anyway.

    I need Brad media! Help me..

    Yo, this is an idiot who wants you to change the way you start all of your posts.
    Thanks, -_-

    Why dont one of you people who care so much that about how DancingFighterG starts off his posts do this:
    Start a thread about it!

    Yeah! It'll be great you could name the thread
    "DancingFighterG. Will he ever stop?" or
    "WTF, DancingFighterG, can you please post like the rest of us?"
    or how about
    "The I-hate-how-DancingFighterG-starts-his-posts Haters Club"

    I'm considering starting a "Who gives a fuck" thread.
    Or better yet a "Lifeless-nerds/geeks haters welcome" thread.

    Like I said, I'm new here. I didn't know this was a DancingFighterG signature move. I take it I'm not the first to question the reasoning behind introducing yourself before each post...

    Anyhoo.....no need to get all riled up. Also, the "life-less nerd" comment was uncalled for, especially coming from a VF5 forum "Enthusiast". /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

    Let's get back to Brad, shall we? My apologies to DancingFighterG. I love your posts my friend!

    Hey man, dont take it personally, I'm just fucking around, if you cant tell from my avatar, I'm usually not serious, unless it's a serious subject (like VF gameplay/tactics) and specially when I write stuff like that /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif
    Hope you have fun here, see you around.

    I've heard people say that all of the characters in VF5 have a bounce move but I have not found a bounce move with Brad. If anybody knows of a bounce move for Brad, please chime in.
