Dan-the Lion player I played and chatted with you ages ago in Manchester when Chris was hosting a gathering. Thought you'd retired cos didnt hear anything of you. You should come and have some matches here in Bath.

    EASY DAN!
Nah mah, I'll never retire VF! I've been VF since way back in the days /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif!
The main reason I have not been responding to many posts is because I've been busy with other things. But I glance at VFDC nearly everyday. Been realy exited about VF5, been watching some of these movies, they're cool man!

I think VF5 has started getting me exited again! I normally play my 360 online a lot, so I'm hoping this will come out on the 360!

Do you go to a lot of the meetings Dan? Have seen Hatim recently? Tell him I said hi!

A couple of interesting things to be noted in this Jeffry vs Kage match:

back turned crumples: in VF4, if you hit a back turned opponent with an attack that would otherwise crumple, it simply just knocked them down and you couldn't really combo afterwards. But in VF5, as shown in this vid, we see Jeffry hit Kage with [6][P]+[K] in the back causing a crumple (new animation) and allowing for a combo followup.

wall slam: I think these were mentioned before somewhere but this is the first I get to see it. Kage hits Jeffry with [6][6][P]+[K]+[G] and we see Jeffry get slammed and planted against the wall for a brief moment, then fall fowards to the ground. Maybe this new wall slam will allow for more combo opportunity?

Not sure what nobody was referring to with the gay/mentally handicapped comment?

Ah, fair enough /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif Yeah, Jeffry seems to have gone the Bob Sapp comic route in a big way.

Watch out for Goh! Stuff I noticed:

    - Execution of [4]+[P]+[K] has been sped up drasticaly (20 frames?). Combo used by one of the Gohs in the clip: [P] > new 3-hit attack > ground punch. It took off at least 70 points.

    - Kick that caused a head crumble on red counter (in the video) as Myke pointed out. Is the kick high?

    - Short version of the soccer kick--looks mid, and crumbled (on red hit in the video clip). Combo-able I'm sure with either [K] or [6][6][K].

    - Beatdown punch similar to Vanessa OS' [4][3][P]+[K] with mid-range. Instead of knocking down, the Goh in the clip did a low throw on red counter hit. Does this mean the opponent is low-throwable?

Overall, Goh is now a really dangerous range character. He has [6][6][K] for long range, the beatdown punch and [6][6][P] for middle range, and two crumpling kicks for short range. I don't know if he's any better in terms of circular attacks, but he's already obviously better than his FT incarnation!!

    Re: VF5 Video hosting

The three hit punch combo is a great addition to Goh. I believe the last hit forces crouch even on block.

This property is similar to the mid punch he does in the clip before the low throw, which is the new [6][6][P]+[K]. I believe the hit on red counter gives a low throw opportunity. If [4][P]+[K] is really faster, this gives Goh a really good nitaku game starting from mid range.

He should get a special low damage throw that will put his opponents at mid range. Would be a nice addition.
