Catch22, the problem you had with those video freeze is because when streambox is downloading, it stopped and resumed for some reason. When this happens, you will have that problem of the sound keeps playing but image hangs problem. You can fix this by deleting the file and download it again and make sure you keep your bandwidth allocated to streambox so it doesn't stop the download and resume.

Hey catch... what I was saying is that over six megs is the average, based on the fact that five movies take up a little over 30 megs...

As for the download issue, not sure what's up with that. A lot of people had trouble with no sound/broken sound until srider figured out you need to lower your connection speed and check the "mms streams" box in the connection tab. All am2 asx's have arrived in perfect condition ever since I learned that little trick.

I'll try lowering it, but I've always checked the MMS box under "connection," like you stated in your previous directions.

Maybe it's the angle of the vid and the dark color, but at around the 30 sec mark in the Inotchi vid is an Akira move I don't recognize. Kinda looks like an "Ole`" taunt from a bullfight. Is that a new move or am I just seeing his kinda weird in the vid?

That streambox thing dont make sence, i downloaded it and i got tons of stuff in the zip file which one do i use. And also do i have to download the file and then use it or do i copy and paste the shortcut into it.

You'd have loved it in VF2.

As for pai throwing out a lot of low punches, I've heard this before. Pai sort of has to commit to her one major float starter, and she lacks the ability to be in a crouch and use a fast f+P peck. She can't do d+P, elbow like a jacky or lau player can. It's kind of irritating. So I guess a lot of good pai players will just stick with low punch until they see the MC flash that signifies it's time to go for a float starter or throw.

 

Unzip and install streambox (the installer should be called streamboxvcrsuite01.exe) if it's the same as mine.
When it asks for name/address/etc information, you just put in nothing or fake information. When you're finally done installing you'll have a bunch of different files you can run, the one you want is streamboxVCR beta 31. You'll also have beta 30 and beta 2, neither of those is ever needed.

Once you're running it, the basic way to add a URL you want to download is with the + button.

 

Well i got the video now and the streambox thing is all sorted but even though i have the video it still plays with sound but i cant seee anything. /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif

 

There's a trick to downloading movies from AM2 with streambox. You must press + to add the link, then (before you click OK) click the connection tab at the top. Check the box that says "MMS Streams", and change your connection speed to 256K dsl. I'm not 100% sure if that last step is necessary but I think it helps.

Doing this will cause streambox to download 2 files at the same time. The first one is the movie (with video) and the second one is garbage that you never see.
