    Hi Ogi,

    I understand that you have good intentions, but could you please stop posting links to old media?

    You may not be aware, but all these movies have been posted in the past. When Evo was relatively new, all Evo media was posted in New Evo Movie Clips thread. Search the Media board on any filename that you are posting now and that giant thread will appear in the results.

    When Evo got more popular, media posts were then being made in the appropriate thread, according to the site/source of media.

    So, I don't find those media,that's why I post those media's.

    Ever wanted to organize your movies by player or tournament?

    Well, here's a way to do it. They're translated pages of am.sega.jp where the movie links originated from. I did some investigative work awhile ago, and was able to figure out what files went where.

    Anyway, download this file:
    Otenamihaiken_2.zip
    and follow the directions.

    The tournament is the past Otenamihaiken 2 that took place last year (Winter '02), and I thought would be a good place to start, since the Otenamihaiken 3 matches are currently being posted.

    I have found most of am.sega.jp's movie files and found their webpage that they originated on, and will be releasing the rest of html files with the activated links if people are interested. If someone would like to host them, I can get them out faster as my Cox and AOL accounts are not too bandwidth friendly.

    To those of you who have not gotten the movies that are needed for the html file, you can d/l them here:

    I have one request though. I NEED VOLUNTEERS TO TRANSLATE THE NAMES IN THE MATCHES. I've learned to recognize most of the major players, but it's the others I need help with. Once this information gets to me, I'll update the html file so everyone can enjoy the movies that much more.

    then go to

    to translate the page and save the frame as:

    and put the 2 files and 1 folder created in the "evoote_tournament_files" folder created during the instructions given in the zip file.

    This will make the "tournament chart" active in the "evoote_final_en.html" file.

    ...and if anybody didn't know, this is a National Tournament, which Ohsu won last year to automatically qualify for the Kakutou Shinseki II... the reason for his and Napoleon's (KS) fancy intro in the KS2...
