So did I. I've still got the Gamesmaster VF2 thing as well, somwehere. Come to think of it, I've probably got every GM on tape, how sad.

Ok let me say something here.
The last statement made by Hatim was not made on behalf of the UK. We like you (the rest of the forum) enjoy new information about the game. The reason we go to the arcade is to see new things. Yes 93 wins are all well and good, but we would rather see new techniques in Virtua Fighter 4.

On the other thread, I had a pleasurable read concerning one guy who practically travelled to another country just to play the game. And the differences was that he talked about the game itself. Every point that he made hit the nail on the head of what VF4 is truly all about.

The amount of consecutive wins will only count on the 21st October. Some people may thing that 93 wins is great and everything, but today my friend and I went to the arcades (casino) and saw an Akira player (VF4 style) that wasn't just playing, he was fighting. Having a fight that we wished so much that we was filming so we could capture and show it to you all. That night we came out of the arcade impressed with his display of skill. We didn't see a game today, we saw a fight....

So 93 wins... Yes that's all well and good, but that is not the most important thing to us in the UK.
My friend and I will try to give you the kind of information that this forum is for. Why, because we love Virtua Fighter, especially VF4.

No. Not at all mate. Back in 95 when I was fifteen Games Master was the highlight of my viewing week. It really opened my eyes to the gaming world. Heck, it gave me my first taste of King Of fighters when Donna Air and some other girl from Biker Grove used Mai and King in KOF95! Me and my friends would watch it religiously. I too would have taped it if I could have. And I'm sure we're not alone. Shame about the magazine though, It's utter bollocks. Chin Up man!

If my post sounded like it was meant to be on behalf af all players in the UK, it wan't. My apologies, I have to learn how to express my self better on these forums, I don't have the skills yet to write eloquent posts up here like those from the "gaming age" magazine.

Maybe you didn't see a fight that night because no one put one up.

I don't really know who this person posting (Gavin) is, but I'm guessing from the tone of his post that he was one of my victims that evening and more than likely other evenings too.

Anyway, it seems like I'm pi**ing a few people off here, maybe I should lose a little more often.

My only advice to you is this, maybe next time you walk down that staircase into the arcade hoping to see a fight and you see me on the machine, you might consider calling back later.

I play games for my fun, not for others'. Sorry if you're not entertained, I certainly wouldn't be, if I had lost that many times. By the sound and sheer size of the croud, you could well have been the only one not entertained.

    See you at Goodge Street.
