That was fun, I did lose most of the time but managed to get some wins here and there. The stick felt a bit different so that messed up my inputs somewhat but that's no excuse lol. Should mix up more often and think more strategicly.

 

hey guys, the meeting was nice, cool that yrvin could come last minute. i tried to contact sof, but to no avail..

@fulaani: i was quite impressed by your eileen, you know a lot about her. you did stay on the offense too much getting a lot of ch's that shouldn't have happened, if you do try that use eileens crushing moves more to get a better chance, or evade first and attack back.

@yrvin: some good games between us, it seemed like you wheren't up on the same level as the previous meeting, i'm not sure why tht was. lau seems a great choice for you though, looking forward to play you when you have really mastered him.

@spoon: actually, i have the same comments as yrvin: you played better on the previous meeting, but still some good games. i tried to play aoi against you(i was unlocking items for you on my ps3 anyway) cause i wanted to see what would happen if your stuff was used against you, i wasn't teasing

Also got my first full-color prize match two days ago in quest mode. ^_^ Brad's tropical tan, still no Bonjasky sadly. I was so shocked I won the prize match and instantly lost the tournament I got it in, anything to do with chance usually ends up being a 'never saw it' thing with me (like in FFVII, Vincent? No problem, Yuffie? Who's that?).

I also figured out why I quit Vanessa again yesterday, I tried messing around with her a bit again and got my ass handed to me by the AI. Screw you guys calling her cheesy, try playing with her! Just like Kage, I always called him cheesy, then I tried playing with him myself, ok, that doesn't work for shit.

Heya, I just signed up to the forums and I know Jundori irl, he kinda got me interested in this game, we played it at my house and afterwards i bought it with an arcade stick. I'm not too good or anything but VF5 is one of the few fighting games that have been fun to play for me. I had hardly any fun playing tekken or soul calibur but the depth of VF is just plain awesome.

Anyone that could give me some pointers etc? I'm still in the process of going through which character i should pick but I've been playing a little with Lau and he seems ok-ish but not awesome.

funny you guys should mention a meeting, cause guess what? my exams will come to an end this weekend, so i thought what better way to celebrate than with some wicked VF matches! so if anyone is interested i could host it this weekend (22 & 23 dec.) let me know!

And I'd love to come for the meeting but i have to work on both saturday and sunday, saturday from 8.00 - 13.00 and sunday from 9.00 - 14.00, times aren't too bad so I could buy like a weekend ticket from the NS or something similar /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I should try Pai really, I hate playing against here so maybe others might feel the same when I play as her

Pai plays pretty well imho, she's very complete, as in, juggles, reversals, and low throws^^, and she is annoying as hell to play against imo.

btw bumsy, why the **** do you have to work on a sunday ;o ?

okay here the deal...
so far there are 4 people interested in a meeting. waiting on Sof, NGK, sp00n, Fulaani, Irv.
- i live in harderwijk (i'll pm about details)
- i have 2 reasonable size tv's and one small one, but playable. still working on getting a hdtv for the weekend. btw i also have a 22 inch pc monitor, so if anyone happens (doubt it) to have a hdmi or component to vga or something...
- alotta tv's, but i have only one PS3. so if anyone could also bring their PS3/X360. dont forget your sticks!
- sleepover is possible, however if these 9 are all coming i can't provide for everyone.

sof isn't online that much lately, i would recommend calling him, spoon i havn't spoken to since last week, so i don't know, i think he's best contacted through msn, but i'll give his number through pm too. you should ask sof to get in contact with yrvin because i've never in my lifetime to be able to get him on the phone

I can bring a vga cable and MAYBE a my tft pc screen (8ms so there shouldn't be any lag) I'll be bringing my stick for sure seeing as I only play with it /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Don't expect me to be good or anything, me and fulaani played some matches for about an hour and we had some fun /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif It was pretty late though and I was even able to make it back in time for work XD
