VF Circuit - Round Robin #1 - 360 & PS3 League

    he asked when it will start or did i misinterpret it?
    We're 4ppl from uk and 2 from germany (seyu&me), so either 7pm your time (8pm for us) or 8pm your time (9pm for us).
    I think we should discuss it through group pm instead of using this topic [​IMG]

    Edit: haven't seen the timer. So it's 8pm for uk and 9pm for germany.

    Did you receive any emails for VF Circuit or Challonge the last two weeks or so? (check junk mail)

    GRALN1K - its because you did not confirm participation in the first PS3 Round Robins. People in the circuit are required to confirm participation in each individual event before they are put in brackets. The PS3 round robin west coast north america should have some open spaces. Let me know early enough and I can stick you into one of the brackets.

    The European/Asia brackets are done. In 3 hours will be the East Coast Brackets.

    We have 2 last minute participants entering making all three east coast brackets to be 8 players full.

    Remember to signed into the challonge website, because people participating in the event can and should fill in their own results.

    You can filled it as the number of rounds won (3-0) or if you won the match or did not (1-0). Both are treated the same way for the VF Circuit.

    Bracket 9 looks epic, I expect to see the matches uploaded somewhere [​IMG]

    Great job putting the circuit together, the brackets are so good it's your own fault everyone wants a stream and/or uploads [​IMG]

    Thanks again to everyone that participated in these events. The first round robin for both the 360 and PS3 Leagues are finished!

    For the Xbox League, we had 52 players participated in the round robin (8 brackets total). For the PS3 League, we had 53 players participated in the rescheduled event. In total, that is 94 of the 172 players registered for the VF Circuit.

    100 or more players are registered for each league (360 - 107 ; PS3 - 100)

    This is what people should expect for this week on VF Circuit Blog (also will make note of it on VFDC):

    1. Dragon Ball Power Rankings System of the Circuit
    2. Post addressing the feedback received from the first round robins.
    3. Details on small group training session - to those that participated in the Circuit and finished in the bottom third.
    4. Thread to open registration for PS3 Round Robin #2, Sunday, August 19th. (360 Round Robin #2 registration have already started - click here)

    It will work smoothly if every participator can either use mic or check shoutbox at the same time. Last night we had couple disconnections from PSN and it took a while to make thing back on track, and it could be worse if there were more people waiting at the room.

    Also, if there is any distraction between the match such as heavy lag/spike, I hope both players can still try their best until the end. As being spectators, I don't think we are able to realize what exactly happens there. The good thing to use mic or check out shoutbox is we can report the issue and everyone on the same bracket can get information immediately.
