Plague - An invitation to a gathering held by Masterpo and the mysterious Clan ChiQuanShu? Can't really say no to that. I will be in Youngstown to remind Maddy of his post :p.

Masterpo - Respect is earned and not easily given. Especially since a lot of the material you have written in VFDC does not appear to have any substance to it. It will be a pleasure to finally meet you in person.

    First:

Perhaps some of you missed the spelling or maybe you're just
having fun at our name. Its all kewl. But for the record

    Dojo ChiQuanshu

    http://www.chiquanshu.org

Second, I've always said we have a little different approach to the game. That's our prerogative. Instead of hatin, you guys should of just welcomed the diversity.

Third, I told you our dojo has students and sifus. I told you I'm one of the lowest ranked in our dojo. Now Maddy, Akai, Ninja, Have said they will be our guests on Sunday 29th.
They will get a chance to meet:

    Last Monk
    Sugi_pai
    Ge_Que
    Death_Angel
    25-to-lif
    Alchemist
    Who_want_pai
    Darth Kage
    Sho_no_mercy
    die_slow
    and a few other surprises.
    All members of dojo chiquanshu.

Fourth I've said many times we've taken the game to a whole nuther level. I didn't say that we're better than everybody or anybody. Its just we're interested in the game as a martial arts simulation, and we're deeply interested in the notion of virtual martial arts.

    http://www.chiquanshu.org

A lot of the trash talking by lot of the members of VFDC is understandable. And really we're not mad at anybody. We've have much love for our peeps at VFDC. But hopefully after the Sunday 29th we'll at least get the common courtesy and consideration of at the very least knowing what VF is. Yep we're different,
    So WTF

As time goes on perhaps by next year this time I suspect there will be several VFers on VFDC that will be in total disbelief
of what our little ficticious, phoney, fantasy, make believe, kiddy, pompous, baffoon, etc little dojo will be doing with the franchise.

At this point here's where I'm going to leave this.

    For the haters out there.

Remember your posts, Remember my posts,

And when we meet and we will meet,

    Sho some respect

Re: Masterpo and the Loss of Cool Controversy

A dishonest question is a really a statement or hidden agenda posed or offered as a question. The person presenting the dishonest question really is not seeking information but rather promoting some proposition.

My original question was honest in that I really wanted to know what the big change was. As anybody else, I could speculate as to why Sega was putting VF online, but I was wondering did anybody have the real facts.

Plague I appreciate your sense of humor the "Loss of Cool Controversy" and in your humor you're right. I was out of place
    in my comments to Myke.

Sometimes we must ignore the insulting tongue, duck the provoking blow, and run from the assault of the strong.

The wild boar runs from the tiger. Knowing that each being well armed by nature with deadly stength, may kill the other. Running, he saves his own life, and that of the tiger. This is not cowardice. It is the love of life.

Myke I apologize. Plague thanx for setting me back on the narrow road of redemption /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif

In terms of Maddy participating, that's totally his option.

I'm looking forward to playing someone who uses arcade style sticks and gameplay. I'm sure our dojo will be the better for the experience.

This shit is great. I was having a bad day at work, read this thread and I got a really good chuckle, thanks guys.

Gotta love VFDC, where the drama is always comical and the comical causes drama, lol.

    It'll be fun.

You're gonna find that we just have a different take on the game.
A different paradigm. Everyone in our crew is looking forward to meeting you guys too. But really none of us got on VFDC and criticized the approach to the game that is predominant on VFDC, even though we have a different approach. There's room for everybody. If our 'lack of substance' approach to the game turns
out to be successful the whole F'n community will be better off for it.

Everybody talks about being happy to expand the base of VF players, but we kind of got the door slammed on us because we're not part of the VFDC click.

AKAI, hopefully after our meeting, you and Ninja will have somewhere a little closer to go when you want to kick some VF.
Also you never know when you might need a crew to help you represent in Ohio. Once we meet face to face you'll probably
feel a little different about the ficticious 'chiquanshu' LMAO

And if my calendar is correct we've got somethin happen up in Cleveland next April.

Your "dojo" should go to Evo World. That's the best opportunity for everyone to meet in the community.

We might catch next year's. Right now several of our in the middle of master's thesis, one of us is smack in the middle of a doctorate program. It just timing that's all. VF is the game, but we gotta complete the education first. Next year will look a lot better for us, and by then maybe we'll have learned to play the game a little /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Re: Masterpo and the Loss of Cool Controversy

Don't misunderstand me, I am not critcizing your "approach to the game." What you write about your local scene and "approach to the game," though a bit strange for my own taste, sounds like a great community. Playing people outside of your niche, I think you will realize your "approach of the game" that you adamantly wish to distinquish from the rest of the VFDC community, may not be so different (possibly).

The "lack of substance" is the lack of any solid evidence that your community really exists. You have to admit, asking people to take your word (which is written in a...very unique style) about a community that no one except yourself says exist is hard to swallow. Especially when most people find it difficult to just find someone in the same city to play VF, your Youngstown community had over 40 people playing VF at a high school tournament. I would loved to be prove wrong about your community.

Anyways, if you wish to continue discussing on this matter, I will send you a PM later tonight.

Dude. You'll never guess what just happened. I was reading this thread and blowing myself at the same time (because I can freaking multitask) and when I got to the part about "thesis" and "doctorate" I gotta say I lost control, caught the gag reflex and vomited all over my lap. I know what you're thinking "by now Fred should have that gag reflex under control considering how often he goes a-swordswallowing" and you're right except sometimes I get either caught a little off guard or too exhuberant or something and I titillate the epiglottis and *SPLASH* all over my rock hard cock.

    It sucks.

But only at first cause the sight of my cock covered in vomit really just turns me on even more. The thought that I can gobble my own bechunked member AND read up on my masterpo all at the same time makes my piece glow purple beneath the mucous.

I may show up in Youngstown one day.

And no, you don't have to worry about feeding me.
