People are hating on Xbox again? If Evo can be brought to a home console, Xbox will get it.

I'm concerned that it will be PS3-exclusive, esp if FFXIII actually sells PS3's.

This is why VF5 360 needs to sell like hotcakes- convince Sega that the market is there.

This is also why I want to take early action on convincing Sega to release it in the US at a reasonable date. I'm really loving the hell out of fighting games again due to this game- I want that to continue.

Indeed, I just want them to release the patch to add online to the PS3 version.

I think if they could have they would have. I expect something in VF5 Evo though. (one reason I'm fearing it being PS3 exclusive)

Considering they already have the engine ready for both consoles, and that VF5 isn't exclusive, I highly doubt it will be exclusive to any one console. There's simply no reason for them to keep it exclusive.

The online for PS3 would likely require more then a patch.

Why? There's no reason they can't do it with a patch. Tekken DR was patched for online. VF can be patched for online.

You can literally patch a game for anything.

So Ver.D probably isn't going to offer anything drastically improved if Evo is on the way, right? If that's the case, I don't see why Sega would bother with Ver.D on consoles.

To be honest I'm not sure I see the point of Ver.D really if Evo has been confirmed.

My guess is last chance tweaks to get balance more optimum, otherwise, I agree with you.

    BUT, MORE COSTUMES! YAS!

If Evo is confirmed, and Vers D isn't major changes, waiting is fine.

That said, a patch to put it on VF5 would be nice.

Seriously? I just bought this game! lol...

Yeah, make it a patch for the 360. Charge a small MS Points fee if you must... but I'd prefer you didn't :p

Oh... and change the online setup to be like DOA2:HC /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

I can see the xbox only getting ver. C and due to the jap market being ps3 friendly Sega will more than likely cater to ps3 fans at least in japan .. So I dont see 360 gettin anything more than ver c. I mean VSHG isnt even released on 360 why would i want to play VF on cheap or converted sticks.. Sega knows what system to go with for serious VF play. Not to mentions some hardcore players love the Dual Shock 2 controller so when it comes out I am sure it will be heaven sent for ps3/VF5 fans being patient and getting the best of VF5 in the end, then I guess all the real vf fans who have 360 will buy a ps3

The argument you're making is the same thing people said about VF5 being released on xbox360 in the first place and look what happened. There's no reason to make VF a console exclusive anymore. The third party exclusive is a thing of the past.

Which fighting style woudl you like to get for VF5 evo.

I personnaly would like an animal kung fu guy just like Lei Wu long for tekken. And maybe some ultra fast wing chun chick /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

    Something like that.

But vf just isnt really precise with fighting styles except maybe for Goh.

Anyways Animal Kung fu would be the bomb. Wei Lu Wong /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

I think the exact opposite. I think that VF has some really solid and easy to recognise styles. Except for Sarah (a bit TKD, a bit kick boxing, those throws.... I dunno.. AHA! Martial Arts), every character has a set of moves that ideally fit the style they are supposed to represent. As to which style I would like to see... well it was fun some time ago, but now I learned not to guess... What SEGA's gonna do i going to be great anyway /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif (I'm a VF fanboy, yes /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif )
