UK VF EZONE Ranking Battle #3 Sat 4th Feb 06 2pm - 8pm

No worries Hatim. Just wondering I tried to work out the current ranking results and have posted on the "UK VF EZONE Ranking Battle #2" thread in the jamboree section with corrections as well (Rayne should have been 5pts instead of 4). I used the same marking system as in RB#1 just wondering if you can actually confirm the results are right.

most people would practice the night before the tourney, forget casual play and go straight to 3on3, or 2on2 (if not enough players). team battles is the best, someone to blame!! yeah! /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

 

Although I played absolutely poorly or perhaps my heart wasn't really into yesterdays RB I am now back home from the RB and I can type out the results for RB#3. These are the official results as I have discussed with Hatim about the scoring system.

This time we have 12 people basically the same 10 people from the last RB + 2 from the Northwest UK VF scene(Rayne and Slim Adey).

Like before we were devided into 2 playoff groups of 6 with the first 4 from both groups to qualify into the tournament leaving 2 players from both groups to be evicted. Each player would play each other member in the group twice and placing is decided by the amount of matches a player has won.

Group 1 Had BK, Knee Ninja, Optimus, Myself, Rayne and Slim Adey. BK and Knee Ninja had had joint first so they had to have one match to determine 1st and 2nd place in the group, BK managed to beat Knee Ninja making him first in the group. Myself and Rayne had to fight one match to see who would qualify and who will be out of the tournament. Even though I was playing really poorly that day I managed to steal the spot from Rayne to qualify.

Group 2 had Geeho, The Prince, Jide, Iron Mike, YuuKun and Jeffahn. Their lineup was mostly set apart from one last fight between YuuKun and Jeffahn to determine who would be 5th and last in their lineup. Even though they were knocked out the tournament they were fighting intensly for the 1pt difference as this match came into the last round with YuuKun snatching that point from Jeffahn.

All in all it was a good RB even though the turn out could have been better. I'll make sure I'll play properly next time and make up for my most poor performance at the next RB (If there is a next time).

At least I managed to get some 'Domink Diamond' style commentary on the matches, Northern Style LOL.

I have just a little anouncment, I took the wrong memory card home from the RB so basically, someone out there has my memory card and I have theres. If anyone finds that they have the wrong memory card could you post here, it would be a shame for me to lose all the hours i put in on various games. thanks

Just modified my post with the corrections from Hatim and reorganized the rankings a little to show where they are in the leaderboard.

Everyone who came to RB#3 ignore the score I gave you after the RB, these are the "Final with corrections absolutely certain positively sure double checked by myself and Hatim correct results". Next RB(If there is one) we won't make anymore scoring mistakes.
