UK Players: UMSD version2.0 Tournament

Hang on a min, is Hatim coming up? More importantly, does he expect to be playing in the tournament or what?

Yeah, the thing is if we have group numbers all set up and organised, I can't accomodate an extra player who shows up on the day, un-expected to me but expecting to play themselves.

That's why I sent out so many PMs and emails and asked everyone to come and say if they're coming
here.

All I'm asking is for a little feedback from peeps as to who is coming and who is not so I can plan things and sort them out ahead of time, as opposed to being rushed off my feet, frantically sorting things out on the day, depending on who bothers to show up or not.

oh yeah, i totally agree, i was just pointing out that if he does come, we will have someone else to play against. hopefully people can give enough notice......

 

Yeah, hopefully we'll have enough players to sort out the groups back up to at least 5 in each of them again say.

Oh, if you london guys DO come up in an A Team van ( /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif) could you also bring a set up (TV+PS2) with you? If so, that would mean 4 set ups and make things go seriously smooth in the group stages (plus it'd mean more games for everyone too overall).

Sorry, I thought I posted something yesterday but it didn't go through. If it's still alright for me to attend, I'd like to come along.

I'm also looking into hiring a mini bus, like a 15 seater. Who is interested in coming along. I've checked some prices and the actual hiring of the vehicle is about 250 it doesn't include fuel costs.

Quick update, we'd be looking to leave on Friday afternoon/evening, so those of you wanted to get to Manchester on Friday evening then it'll be cool I think. , I reckon it'll be about £25 each.

Let's start getting some names. Chop chop. Can we get at least 10 names please, first come first served.

If you're driving up, the postcode for the place is M14 5RJ in case you want to multi map it, but the meet point is actually just round the corner on Wilmslow Road, just before Rusholme and below a block of flats called Wimslow Park. Well actually, if you're driving there's a car park where the meet is so I'm sure you'll have no problems parking there.

Hi All, just to pick up from what Random said.

Yeah basically we have, me, Jide, Random, Optimus, VO, Stalwart, Jason, Hatim, King Souther and now Jun too!

Are there at least two more people who want to come?

Also are all the people listed 110% guaranteed? If people start dropping out it will ba a shambles for the remainders so please say now if you have any doubts. Anyhow manz don't turn up on the day for some dry reason.

Basically if only 3 more people turn up then the van + petrol will work at something around £27 per person. Maybe a bit more, maybe a bit less.

Going by train works out at £32 return so you will probably save some money. Also with everyone together it is bound to be fun.

The van is cheaper but will take slightly longer than the train with traffic and everything.

The van will leave at 7.30pm on Fri night
The van will leave Manchester on Sat night at 5-6pm.

OK guys, come on, we just need three more to meet the £27 poundish barrier but there is space for four more.

Minibus update:

I have to put down a £500 deposit for this minibus then pay the £250 for the minibus then fork out for the fuel too.

I don't want to get bumped, so I'm going to be taking cash on Friday and at the coming weekend session if there is one.

Ryan has mentioned some preliminary departure and arrival times, they sound about right but they're not final, just use them as guidelines. What do people think about them, please put forward some suggestions. We can be flexible but some people have commitments on Saturday evening so we'll be leaving latest 6pm Saturday.

I wonder what the best way to get a list of people who are serious about coming on the minibus.

I was gonna put up a form on the web, that won't be so secure so why don't you guys email me.

Hi Hatim, I think you didn't read all of my post, there are a couple more for the mini bus.

Apart from Jason who I am not sure about these are all guaranteed too. Look at the other names in my post.
