hey lm, im probly gonna get my ticket 2moro, but which station in manchester do i arrive at? e.g from london paddington/kingscross station to manchester xxxxx station?

 

If you can get a train to Oxford Street Station in Manchester, go for it, although it'll probably be Manchester Piccadilly station where you will get off the train.

Oxford road station is about a 20 min walk from my place but I don't think any London trains will stop there, in which case you'll want Piccadilly station in the centre of town.

It's handy though as Piccadilly is just round the corner from the local arcade and right near all the buses and taxis you could ever need.

Head back back to Chris's for round the clock VF.

kay, ive just check the times via virgintrains website and will book tickets 2moro. i shud be able to reach manchester piccadily around 7-8 pm.

that alrite lm? oh and one more thing, what time u think the thing is gonna end on sat? (just so i know what time for booking return tickets.

 

I envision the tourney finishing by around 3.30 at the latest but we'l continue to play after that...

Most travelling folks tend to set off around 5/5.30 in order to make 6ish trains home.

7-8 on the friday night sounds good.

 

It will probably end by 5/6pm, on the Saturday booking a return train about 7/8 ish would be good idea.

big time bad news

people i am sorry to say on behalf off myself stalwart jun & kola we cant afford to make it for untold reasons shall be explained here

1st off we only found out this morning that the train tickets cost £54 and u have to book them now as in today reguardless

it dont make sence cos it seems its 1 month in advance for £25

so stalwart cant afford for all to go. and neither can i

2nd jun & kola dont know this yet so the dyanmic duo will have to be told today

3rd of my ex-girl passedaway thursday morning so i myself aint in the mood now i am very sorry for everything and hoping of coming but there is none for me

only reason i had to write all this is to make sure it is clear y we cant come.

Lm_akira i am sorry about messing up your plans if there was another way around this i would of come but at this current state i cant now i am so very sorry + i am speaking for the rest of my crew

ryan was gonna buy me a ticket yesterday, but was told it was £50+ so i dont know whats going on now, he didnt buy me one.

optimus got told the same thing, dont think he got one eather.

same as jide.

was ment to go to ryans underground vf session last nite but couldnt make it, so i dont know what the plan is now.

all i know is if them heads are still going. its defffinatly about £20 return on a National Express coach from victoria, i remember i bought a return last november the night b4 i went and it was only £18, +£1 booking fee!

I've booked and paid, but it was a bit more expensive than I expected. I was only going to buy my tickets in few days time and I didn't realise how quickly the cheap tickets sell-out.

Anyways, the ticket schedule I have was still avilable this morning, so if you don't mind staying an extra night it's not too harsh on the wallet. There were no more cheap tickets back on the Saturday night when I looked and I was even considering coming up on the Thursday. The coach is about 30 squid, but the journey's 5-6 hours (twice as long as the train).
