It's been a while since I last checked the boards. Since people are thinking about coming up on the Friday. I've decided that I might as well get some extra games in and to check out Manchester, that way I can get to know and meet more people better than just having to meet them on the Saturday.

Does anyone think they can put me up for Friday night?

I just got my college schedule and found that I have Friday free unlike last year.

Yeah you're welcome to hang out at my place on the friday night, no staff are around so I'm sure we can hijack the tv room (or use the crappy pool table room) and use it over night.

Just to warn people we may have only one set up going on the friday night depending on whether Nakura can make it but we at least have a big tv (mounted on brackets) to watch in the tv room as well and I'm guessing a few will want to sleep a little sometime so hopefully things will work out ok.

donno about equal amounts of players per team, maybe a bit unfair to just tell some no, they cant be in team north/south!!! (unless they are really crap, haha)

but, i think this would be fun, it was fun when we had a team uk vs europe in abosolution in may also!

Hey there.

Essentially it is a one day meet, on the 25th Sept in Manchester. Some are travelling here on the 24th and staying the night.

We're running an Evo and HSF2 tourney but the main one is Evo. It starts with a Group stage beginning around 12 ish on the sat and then we have knock out fights to decide a winner, finishing around 3 ish I reckon.

Then we'll run HSF2 and play more VF until 6/7ish or basically when people need to start heading home.

Thing is, if you want to be in the tourney, then I doubt I'll be able to fit you in as all places are filled and we have 1/2 reserves already. You could have games either side of the tourney if you want to make it but I'm afraid it looks doubtful for you if you want to travel and compete.

PM me and I'll fill you in if you like.

 

About me using women, I can use Pai and Aoi but only Sarah and Vanessa a little.

Women team is all good.
