UK Players: UMSD version2.0 Tournament

On a serious note, I hope Chris succeeds in his attempt to bridge the gap between the North and South divide. Additionally, I hope that the constant negative abuse does not deter our southern AND northern comrades from the tournament. Chris has put a lot of effort into this and it would be a crying shame if there would be no-one coming due to childish abuse on this post, although it would be nice to see people attempting SPoD's and eye gauges on each other....THATS A JOKE! /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

Guys cumon' sort it out and lets get back to serious issues and be thankful for this gathering which would not have even taken place if someone did not go out of their way to organise it all!

yeah I just wanna say this stupidness needs to stop, We've never had a big U.K VF get together unless you count Absolution (¬_¬) , it'd be a shame to jepordise the uk scene as a whole for now and the future etc.

listen, even i am going to restrain myself as much as possible, and i know that i am one of the people who starts alot of shit up. all you London players (even those whom i have had disagreements with), i hope you make the journey, it would be a shame to miss out on the experience!

one thing to Random, and this isn't ment as an insult, or ment to be rude, so if you take it in the wrong way it is your fault. just drop the threats of violence, no-one cares if you are able to 'bruck' us, and no-one thinks you are big or hard by threatening people, nor are they intimidated by you. remember, this is only a game, i mean, you obviously regard yourself as a good VF player, as do i, so is it really worth spoiling the chance to have some good matches over some E-penis war?!?! just let it drop man, don't pay money to come up here and start up some nonsence fighting. if you want to reply to this so that you have had the last word, then go ahead, but please, no violent threats, they mean nothing!

No worries Shaun, sometimes things just spiral out of control so quickly you don't realise what is happening. I've lost count of the number of times it's happened on our own thread.

I really do hope that those coming up from down south do still make it, after all we're all pretty much "the" group of UK players on here (I'm aware of) who take the game fairly seriously, it'd be a waste not to meet and play.

the thing is Ev2 and elite have been rude to me in the past (1st i might add) and again this time around they started again, maybe they wanted shit, who knows.

ive seen by other posts from them, the compleate and total disrespect they have to others (even people they've met in REAL LIFE) hell, im not about that, i dont let none disrespect me (cue all the "life in the getto" remarks from Ev2/elite)

people in london know what im talking about.
i wanted to play games with yous lot, to prove/show what the best london has to offer, im not that good at VFevo anymore but im always up for a chalenge, hell its always good busting up a new mans at a fighting game!

people who know me (in real life) know i have a lot of respect, i have manners, and i do say the odd thing but its all in jest.
what i get from Ev2/elite is a diabolical liberty, do they know me well enough to talk to me like that? im a 26 yo man, if you talk to someone like that you'd better be a big man. i aint no bully. but im no pussy aswell.

infact you can just see the resentment and comtempt in every post from ev2/elite, even where elites edited his sig with the "P.C" remark.

im not having the last word, im just pissed off that people dont see how i was blaytantly attacked.

anyways it would of been fun beating down mans at streetfighter aswell, shame certain peole had to ruin it by being rude and disrespect full, so be it.

Well, I'm severely dissapointed that things have turned out this way, I was really looking forward to meeting some new players and playing some VF (that is why I come here and organise things) and some SF, even though I suck at it.

At the present time, things are certainly going ahead as plan, as far as they can. I'm really upset to see things like this happen but if anyone else is thinking of dropping out can you let me know here or PM me please.

In fact to those how have said they don't want to come, you're all still more than welcome to and I hope maybe one or two of you have a change of heart in the next few weeks, as I'm sure when we all get together there would be no trouble at all. There has never once been trouble in the past when we meet, regardless of how people have argued on here.

Incidentally, does anyone play any SFalpha2 dash here? I found my copy before, dusted it off and it's pretty cool. Closest thing I have to Third Strike.

Come on Jide, let's all go and have fun. With FT round the corner this may be our only big chance to go MC to play with the others. Hi Ryan, Are you still coming down on the friday? I'm staying at LM's on the Thursday (for some Practice) and we can meet you (and anyone else) on the Friday. There is an arcade with Tag near the train station (with good stick's!) before we head back to LM's (Chris's!).

As for others coming up on the friday, Kingsouther, Jeffahn, do you have any idea on what time you'll be coming in to manchester?

listen i have an xbox and it has all the games u know whats it called cant say that on threads on it anyway i will bring it on the condition that 1 person from london helps me carry the sticks i will bring the rest..

but if its on LM u have to realise its pure japanese and has to run on scart ntsc
