haha, It's cool man you and me both. I'm all business no flash so my vids rarely look all that impressive. I imagine you suffer from a similar problem.

 

Aww, come on, Konjou, you know that when you're on it's not good looking matches bc you blow me out of the water and when you're off it's not good cuz it's you, The Professor. I can't put up a fight where you play wack. It's just been a while since I get that feeling that both of us played our best, laid it all out and had a fight where it coulda gone either way. I don't like uploading blowouts.

Another thing is that even when our fights go to 5 rounds your defense is one of the most outstanding things that make the fight. I'm just not drawn to defense as much as offense... even though I know I should be. Tell you what, next time that you play with Akira and you turn on that pitbull-Akira-offense I will save it regardless of how crappy I play. Hell, even if you're playing as Kage or Vanessa and your defense takes that 5th round I will cap it just to showcase how airtight defense should be played
You already know I love your style when you play aggressive Akira... not so much when you play passive-psychic Kage or Vane even though your defense is amazing most times. Regardless, you still the man though. Everytime I play Flash I daydream of sitting down and learning from you the way he did

I believe you has improved to the expert level and I think next time you can try to evade more. That will make your fucking Brad look more complex and unpredictable and definitely increase your win ration no doubt. Keep working!!

I only can remember I saved two matches with NoneOther during the past 3 month. And the reason is we played at Rank so I was able to save them when we were done. Haha~

 

Wait, what's the attack you do after a successful hell trap @ 2:20? Is that Rising Upper and the camera angle is confusing me or did you do something else because there was a wall just behind Blaze?

 

That el blaze match was nice. Fu unji's p k(cancel) 2p at 1:15 was nasty. That would be just downright hard to guard for anyone who plays defense by reaction. Much stronger than the 20 points total damage or whatever it is, when u use it for a round winner. Nice!

Also, was wondering if Akira's dbl palm on tech roll rising has any special properties. It really stands out as a rising move, and i have to say in my experience it is special compared to any other rising move, but i'm wondering off there are any frame reasons or just any good reason why it works so well from that situation? It seems like it is much much tougher to oki than most other moves.

Numbers...what happened? U had the hai K, and could have closed the deal with 2 pkg ppkk. I know u can pull that move, were u just trying to be creative?

 

yeah i messed up pretty bad i didn't expect hai k to connect thought it was guarded but it hit just gotta kk lol theres even some combos during stomach crumble i tried to do 2_6p 3p 2p 1p+k ppp but input too slow. another one was the low k stagger from suirakan stance to ura nehan k then Gcancel 2p 33p p+k+g kk it does around 70 Dmg if opponent didnt stagger recovery in time but i guess it doesnt work against brad or maybe stance specific. Many panicky bad habits too with p and 2p and 2p guarded slight disdvantage then using 66p. Didnt try evade when i saw long ducking attacks kk and p+k are linear. just a quick analysis

Erdraug were you talking about Hell Trap's Gazelle Upper? The combo at the end is the one that A-Z mentioned in the post before this one.
Numbers we always have some cool "wtf" moments. Sometimes I watch our fights and I can almost hear the English commentators saying "What will happen next?!"

As always thanks to all of you who watch. I'll point out a few of the things that made these fights stand out for me:
In the Gentleman Thief match @1:00 I get a wall stagger from and followup with backturned which causes Jacky to float onto the wall where I combo with 2 + That's the more reliable combo option but in a separate vid I go for my to complete my patent-pending combo. Due to positioning and/or distance the last 2 knees of that combo whiff but rarely. The combo I did in this vid does less damage but it's the most reliable.

In Tha Feaucha match @1:39 you can see a rarely seen P(CH)K combo.

The other vids have some cool stuff too. Most vids I put usually have at least 1 rare or cool thing that happens in them or are fights that could have gone either way.

Its awesome of you guys who upload vids and share them for us all to see. As much as i love watching VF5R vids, those are only bitter-sweet, and do more to kill my motivation than spur it on. Its you good folks that upload vids of plain ole VF vanilla that really make me think i might want to invest myself back into it. Plus, while watching R might be more interesting, watching vanilla is MORE FUN.

I gotta say tony, you have taken that damn 24K to a whole new level. its impressive. Maybe you stole it from some1 else, idk, but I have yet to play anyone that utilizes that move like you do. Especially on wake up. Blhazie didn't do it, shinn akira didn't hardly use it, sharpj doesn't, none of these other brads hardly ever use that move, except as a round finisher. But you have turned it into an integral part of your game, it earns you wins and style points. also nice play of jump kick vs rising sweeps. obviously lots of people work that one, but you seem to guess right on it 70% of the time.

Damn, I missed wall combo at 2:30. 4KP(wall hit)P-3P+KPK-2_6K is greatest Blaze wall combo (Well, I think), and I did 2P somehow. How stupid I was...lol

This wall combo is really easy, so you should try it sometimes if you use Blaze. But make sure to look at Blaze's feet, opponent goes to Blaze's stomach side after P of 4KP, so you cant make this wall combo if your position is wrong side.
