tony's VF5 vids (online&offline)

Hey tony,
how long does it take u to put up vids from start to finish. I found it was a time sink. Just wondering about how much time you're putting into it.

haha man, yo PK is the shit. Can't wait, btw, you've somewhat inspired me to possible record a bunch of old ass matches I have on my xbox. Some from as far back as over 18 months, and I don't even remember the players! I'll try and find the most exciting ones.

 

@Social, it's not extremely time-consuming but if you got a lot of replays like I do, it may be hard to go through them all... unless you marked them all correctly then it's easy.
You do have to sit through the replay a couple of times though. Once to see if it's worth putting up and the second time to capture it. All in all, I say it takes about 10 minutes to put 1 vid up. Each vid uploads in 2-5 minutes and you can set it up so that about 10 vids (maybe more) are set to load. But you can do other things while your vids upload so it's not that bad.

I was going to upload the last of our fights today but my laptop is acting the damn fool again so Ima have to fix it first before I upload more vids. I could only get this last vid up before it started acting stupid =/

Thanks slide. I can tell these were my pad days by my movement. that second round I said fuck it my moves and movement are not coming out right, time for stardard play. Honestly I don't know how Denkai plays on Pad so well. that shit drives me too crazy for words.

Lol, thanks but, seriously, he kicked my ass. You can see how many wins in a row he had on me in the vid. I think he was up to 6 on that vid. I think he went all the way up to 8 until I could finally get a win. The vid I posted was just one of the few matches where I gave him a decent fight.
P6PK ender? For what combos? What enders do you use?

On a totally different note, I've gotten some messages about whether I win or lose in my vids. For the record, I don't care.
I just care that the fights are enjoyable to watch and/or interesting things happen in them.
You might see me beat a really good player or you might see me lose to a not-so-good player, it doesn't matter to me as long as I enjoy the action within the fight.
I have replays of me beating down really good players that I will never upload to youtube. I've saved fights like these after the player leaves sometimes bc I did some new or some interesting flowchart or setup but I'm not going to upload a fight of me kicking ass 3 rounds to zip just to glorify myself bc I happened to guess right 90% of the time during that particular fight. I've only put up one fight of me getting my ass beat and it was bc it was with my own character and by a player who hardly plays with Brad. Fights such as those are usually boring to me but that one in particular was funny
/rant.

Rare said he can't get online anymore. He still plays at tournament still.

 

I'm sorry, I should have clarified. The ender is good. It's just that sometimes after launchers such as and maybe you go for that and that's it. You can at least get a jab in before using that ender for more damage. I thought that it may have been lag that kept you from doing better things. There may have been times where I got to connect but couldn't get so much as a jab to connect afterwards, so I could understand if that were the reason.

Libertine, I finally got to play you and just as I suspected, you're good. We had a pretty good connect that night and I got to see a little of the kind of combos that you like to try but I know you noticed that you missed a lot of those and it would cost you the round most of the time. I don't try fancy stuff online. For example, after 1P (CH) I just go for a heavy down attack. Offline I will go for a combo but not online. Unless the connection is really good.

 

Nice vids. I think our did a real good job of symbolizing the set. As in, i could accomplish a little of what i wanted to, but ultimately ur lau was too much too handle for him. Just makes me wanna keep working though

I don't know tony, my combos was landing pretty consistently I thought. I can pretty much tell when the lag will prevent me from completing the combo that I'm attempting, so then I'll alter it mid combo.

Our matches weren't too laggy. I read you as having all green bars. I don't know what you read.

And thanks for the 4 page message afterwards. You made me feel spechel. 8-D

If you're getting the 360 version of T6, I look forward to playing you online. That might be fairly often if VF5R isn't announced on consoles at TGS.
