tony's VF5 vids (online&offline)

At first i was sad that wasted wish didn't appear on the list. Then i assuaged my feelings of inadequacy by telling myself its simply b/c i haven't really played in the last 6 months, b/c if there is one thing that is certain, its that i am an online, lag abusing all-star.

I like to think its b/c online is my only outlet, and i am a competitive person. So if something works, DO IT. But perhaps i am just a "lie, cheat, steal" kind of person, who likes the social and personal integrity to police myself against doing things online that i know wouldn't work offline.

After a blocked dmp+k online, the only fair and just thing for a morally upstanding young vf'er to do is obviously to take his hands off the controller for 1-2 seconds, and then resume playing. Effectively giving your opponent time to react with a throw or guaranteed pk counter.

And in response to shang's blog, it sounds like the shun user was strong, and perfectly capable of adjusting to your adjustments by your own admission. What makes you so certain that you would crush him offline? Sounds like, again by your own description, as soon as he tried one of those online specials and it didn't work, he'd have just mixed it up to something else.

IDK. Either way, i enjoy reading your blogs. Even if they are all petty. You should delete the gernburgs one tho, its pretty fucking shady to be posting someone else's email address up for public consumption.

 

Yes, I noticed that my game was improving just from trying a bunch of other characters too. I had gone through everybody's move list when I was a pad player but not on the stick, so I did and it made me want to play more characters in Quest mode.
It's kinda hard when you got online just beckoning but sometimes I'd rather put myself on offline status and just play Dojo and then Quest with some other characters. Been working on my ete too.

Libertine, when I win it's only cuz of lag but when my opponent wins it's cuz they're better, lol. Let me flip that and watch how much of an asshole I sound like: When I win it's cuz I'm good but when my opponents win it's only cuz of lag =/
There IS lag that is so horrible, soooo horrible (like Schakal) that even a good player feels helpless but for the most part if you're in the same continent and your connect is good, it's all fair in lag and war

Non existent, once again. I'm getting ready to pick it back up some, but i'm thinking about waiting until after nov.3 to see if Pro Evolution Soccer is any good. b/c if it can make a return to form, then it will dominate my vid game time. If not, i'll have time for VF. Dont want to sink 2 wks in and the abandon it yet again. Since i've done that about 3 times now

 

Tony you might want to reconsider your channels wallpaper, it's hard to read. Excellent new batch of vids, i bet you had the same WTF moment as me when your goh's sabaki lost to chief flash's kick in round 3

 

Ok, I changed color of the letters on the channel so it should be easier to read. Change the wallpaper? Only if I find a cooler pic of Brad

I hate Kage. Way to overcome, and get those wins. Man, u earned them for real!!!!

 

Kage is so tough to overcome with brad IMO. he has SO MANY long range attacks while brad has none (He has some good mid-range but no long range). its quite frustrating to play kage's especially online GJ!

 

Long range kage was the reason i made this thread asking for advice... tony's awesome vids could be linked for reference

@ 1:27 kage's DM seems to evade Brad's to the semicricular side

 

So glad you noticed that, Erdraug. This is one of the reasons why I upped this vid too. It's like he gets so low that he can avoid all high attacks including half-circulars and, get ready for this one, even Brad's full circular high + Wtf for seriously.

i also was sure that the guy was going to win. Then the other guy displayed some good yomi. Still, the guy hung in there and ate the yomi with just a little life left. Then the one guy guessed right. And a powerful guess it was. It virtually allowed the guy to attack the other guy, even tho the guy blocked the guy's attempt to steal the win. The guy just never gave up. And overcame the guy and the guys strong play to beat the guy...
way to go guy.
