Yeah, best part about it was the fact that I had a HUGE craving to learn a new character. Most of the time I just fucked around with different characters here and there but I was getting serious about it. I fired up the game and started playing, and in like 5 minutes it froze, turned the console off then on and the red rings popped up. I was pissed, and still am =\

My Xbox got the E74 one red ring error and stopped working.... im currently using my old one that can barely read discs. For some reason the only games that work (after putting them in up to ten times) are GTA4 and cod4. Hopefully I'll have enough money to grab a new one soon, I miss vf5.

 

It was fun with you guys. I'll probably still play at WCG 09 and in amsterdam but after that it's goodbye VF. I've invested about 1,5K Euroes in consoles, sticks pads etc. that I mainly bought for VF, big screen LCD I mainly bought for the consoles. I only own beatem ups on the consoles, I mainly bought to fill the lack on VF players. I was thinking of quitting for a long time now and with no 5R in sight or any players for VF around and the cost for traveling to play a simple game is not justified.
I seee no reason to continue the game. The time I've invested in VF is pretty huge too, but it was fun/frustrating at the same time. I've invested a lot of that time finding players here at my town and the towns around with absolutely no success. They don't even want to play any of the other beat em ups with me it seems.

Only option is to play laggy online matches which are nice if you don't have anyone to play with. But which suck for pro matches since they destroy the game. I'll probably visit VFDC sometimes for nostalgic reasons. I'll invest my money and time in real martial arts, lerning japanese, chinese and korean (not at the same time) and travelling to asia from now on.

 

This wasn't meant for xbl I'm quitting VF. It seems nobody cares...

He's much more recognised than you'll ever be and even some of the best players have moved on to different games for similar reasons... and i'm not talking about online folk here.

I was contemplating on writing a poem response to your question, but seeing Myke's post a couple headings above I think it wouldn't be a wise decision. In short, I would wail and flail, just thinking about it gives me goosebumps /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif Hell if you quit I would be sad too because your a conqueror, but I respect the Adam of the Yuki a lot.
