The movie of CHARIOT

The chibita movies are dead on rizm.net ... maybe too much bandwidth usage.

Did anyone get them before they were taken down? I'd like to see 'em.

Do you know a japanese program which can manage or accelerate downloads? I need a japanese program like flashget, getright, DAP, streambox, or asfrecorder.

The one program I can find, hi-net recorder, does not work /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif

To creed
Since the movie of Quest for CHARIOT was dropped on the usual download, the download tool was not used. When downloading the time of my dropping files, such as a large file (hundreds of mega), or a lot of numbers of data, the software called "Irvine" is used.

Since three CHIBITA movies were seemingly added again, a download support tool may be able to be used. However, Japanese is used for the file name.

Keep trying. Once I actually got the pages to load, my downloads kept getting cancelled. I just kept trying and trying and eventually they started to finish. I grabbed the TSUCHIKUMO vids first, because he is my favorite player to watch (and I don't even play Pai!), and now I'm working on the rest.

All these problems are the exact reason I posted this. /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

If you follow the steps outlined, you'll be able to grab 100% of the movie in your first try, though it takes some hassling to get the url you want plugged into streambox.

 

On my end, the rizm.net homepage kept coming up whenever I clicked one of the links. I was only able to get to the orange page approximately four times, and even then I was only able to download one movie. And yes, I followed the procedure CreeD described in the rizm.net refresher post. /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /versus/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif

 

After banging my head against my desk trying in vain to grab the Vane/Jeff video (at 11+ megs it had a tendency to go dead VERY often), I remembered Creed's Rizm tricks thread (apparently around the same time he posted here about it, heh), and everything was a snap. Now all I need to do if find a better video format, because not being able to fast forward/rewind just sucks.

 

I'm uploading them all to my webspace right now. They should all be up in a bit. I'll update the address when they are finished. Just making this post right now to save you all some frustration. /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

If you have access to a Macintosh /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif , use Apple's new browser: Sarari, and the downloads will not hang. Tried it after multiple hangs with the good 'ol PC /versus/images/graemlins/blush.gif, and remarkably, the d/l's would slow down, but would pick up in speed again, instead of hanging.

This is of course, if you can get the d/l to even start. Luckily, someone has them mirrored now.
