GSP v shields is gonna be the battle of the blankets. Shields has never been exciting and GSP stopped doing anything exciting after getting KOd by matt serra. Then you got machida vs randy. This card has the potential to be the snooezefest of the year.

I honestly see gsp vs shields going extremely similar to koshchek vs gsp.

I'm so out of touch on TUF that I had no idea. barf.

^Ha! Brock has everything he needs at his disposal to be a legit force in HW division... but I think his attitude holds him back.
If he allowed full contact while sparring like Bas Rutten said, he could improve his stand up in order to set up his wrestling.
Granted it would take a couple of years at least, lol.

He's strong enough to overpower and ground and pound most of the UFC's HW's... unless they have good wrestling like Cain Velazquez. If Brock's not able to keep Dos Santos down he's getting KTFO for sure. - Captain Obvious

Just met Dan Hardy at ralphs supermarket by my house. He was with his girlfriend and are both super nice people.

I walked up to him and said "saw you saturday night on tv" and Dan replied, "Yeah, you saw me getting my ass kicked" with a grin on his face. We talked for about 5 mins and he told me he actually lives around here but goes back to the UK for training camps. I asked him who he might be fighting for his next fight and mentioned that his opponent might either be Chris Lytle or Duane Ludwig. I can't say enough about how friendly and courteous both him and his girl were.

 

yeah, Dan comes off as a showman's twat but you suspect he's alright when the camera isn't on him.

 

That is cool. Did you ask him if he will ever learn to wrestle?

 

He gets wrestlefucked by GSP and a guy that should be fighting at 205 and he doesnt know how to wrestle? Anyone that makes it as far as he did gets some sort of props in my book.
