He never had a great start to begin with. How can he have a comeback?

All Kimbo is in mma is an attraction, not a quality fighter.

Never had a great start to begin with.... Do you even know who Kimbo is? Kimbo would slice and dice Fedor like it was time to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Kimbo has fists each of the size of a TE stick. Kimbo is the most exciting fighter in mma today......... [IMG]

All Kimbo is in mma is an attraction, and quality stand-up. [IMG]

Agreed, Unless Kimbo improves ground game DRASTICALLY (which takes a good deal of time, i actually take jujitsu) hes IS just an attraction in MMA.
His standups nice though and so is his personality maybe oneday he'll be in ufc but at the same time hes pretty old, doesn't have many years left to get in...

I've never seen a guy shake this much from strikes. Poor guy looked like he got shot.

Fedor does not like bleeding his own blood. Fedor smash!

Miller vs Shields was an interesting technical display.

Rogers is a sore loser. He was a complete ass after he lost despite seeming like a swell guy during the interviews. Then he goes to say, "I should have thrown ALOT more punches". The whole reason fedor was able to slip rogers' left hook and almost simultaneously fire back with the game ender right was because rogers got obvious with his telegraphing and it was written all over his legs and hips. WHAT DO YOU THINK WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF YOU THREW MORE PUNCHES>?!?!?

He was a sore loser. Fedor made me nervous for a minute. But damn is he impressive. Even more so when u consider he doesn't just route everyone he fights. He beats them, many times thru adversity. Him vs lesner would be a hell of a spectacle. I'd be real nervous for him, but i can't say that he'd lose, but man, hard to say he'd win either.

yay. Fedor did what he does. I still think one of the scarier things about Fedor is how he can absorb damage and never change his demeanor. He remains constant, calm and always looking. awesome.

ugh, the miller fight. I hated it. not that it wasn't interesting on the ground to see the constant jockying for position and constant reset of position but man...5 rounds of that gets a little tedious. I wish Miller could have kept it standing.

You mean you wish Miller would care to wrestle more. For someone that trains with the best wrestlers in the world, he has jits instincts.

I appreciate your position but no, I'd have liked to see more stand up. Jake was at an obvious disadvantage (MO) there. It was Jake's win but Miller did a great job neutralizing position attempts - wish he'd gotten that RNC.

Also, I think Rogers might have a promising career and could clean some UFC heavies if he could a) be more honest about his weakness and approach and b) work on his goddamn conditioning. wow, if that had been a pride fight his "I'm on my hands and knees *thinking* about getting up" approach would have gotten him slaughtered.

Rogers going on didn't bother me much. The guy has likely never been hit like that in his life. I imagine he was hardly picked on after he was 12 years old - he's HUGE. Getting thumped was likely a new experience.

Here is the thing, Mayhem's stand up was never his strong point. Both him and Shields both see themselves as Jiu Jitsu mma guys. I think Mayhem needs a bit more get-to-itness. He seemed to laid out.

Rodgers got beat...that has to be hard. Your first loss is always the hardest. I don't think his conditioning failed him...you simply can't prepare to get your ass whupped like that.

Sure but when you're standing and doing better, wayyyy better, there than on the ground maybe it's time for a strat change. His corner had 5 rounds to suggest a little something something but it was more of the same each time they walked to the center of the ring. shame is all.
