This vid was posted in December so this was well before the whole Brock vs Fedor prospect. Funny how they're still having the same problems still.

I'm pretty sure that Fedor will not be fighting in the UFC ever. It seems like both parties feel that they have too much to lose.

Dream fight: Anderson Silva vs Lyoto Machida. I'll keep dreaming.

I have never seen someone do what Anderson and Machida do. Unbelievable. As much as I wanted Florian to win, it was amazing to see a motivated Penn at work. What happens when he clears out the division? He is stuck in a rock and a hard place. He will never, ever beat GSP...does he go to the wec? Dream?

I recon Silva would destroy Machida but i agree it would be a spectacular fight!

Bj penn has the ability to beat GSP its just that GSP trained that bit harder the last time they fought and had the better fight on the night! GSP is slightly overrated in my opinion.

Florian underestimated the powers of Penn!! Shadowdean your definetly not a Penn fan if you wanted Florian to win=]

Silva vs Griffin will be a modern classic that will be in the dictionary under "humiliation".

I've still got Fedor as one of my top p4p best fighters. I wish he would actively seek other top fighters though...

Fedor has beat everyone in devastating fashion, in fact I don't recall him ever losing a round. Silva and GSP are good, but I still find Fedor more entertaining to watch. He's got this mystique about him and he's so humble.

Overeem and Rogers should be interesting though.

Why would penn go to the WEC? that makes no sense.

Penn is one of Zuffa's premiere fighters. He would never leave.

It would be up to the UFC to import some premium lightweights into their division that might be able to test Penn.

I watched UFC for the first time on Thursday during a poker night. I tried my best to get my mum to watch the 'violent' UFC. But a roundhouse to the head during an ad was too much for her. She kept dragging me to the final table of poker.

There's a lot of sad in the above.

I did not care for the stoppage in the Amir fight. Anderson is very spooky in how he handles people. I do wish Forrest had come with a plan though - I knew if he tried to stand and trade he'd get demo'd and brawlers like Forrest love to stand and trade. Penn was in excellent form. I was in a position where I would have loved both fighters to win somehow. Penn needed the win badly, and I just like Florian.

"Associate Professor John Gullotta opposes the sport and says it invites serious injury and possible death"
Sounds like a description for life to be honest...
What a fuking moron [IMG] , those are the worst types for MMA bad press ,who have supposed credentials talking rubbish about things they are not informed/clued up on about.

After watching the Amir fight a few times, I gotta say that crouching and praying is not intelligently defending himself. Sucks cause I really want to see him do great things.
Holy fucking hell, I still don't think that Torres got the name of that Brian Bowels train wreck. Talk about a changing of the guard.

oh I know, I watched it a bunch of times as well. I don't think he was in danger after going to his knees which is the hugely frustrating part - he should have gone to his back if he wanted to remain in the fight.

I still think it was early. I really like Amir and hope he gets another fight soon.

    To me, Anderson/Lyoto is 50/50.

Anderson made Forrest look like a pathetic joke.

See, Forrest knew going in that exact risk. In the interview for Countdown he said that Anderson makes great fighters look BAD. Anderson's style was perfectly suited to hammer a stand and trade Forrest and after the first knockdown Anderson owned him for free; it was a trifle sad to see Anderson drop his hands to his waist, feint with his shoulder and see Forrest cover up.

Anderson's head movement when he realized Forrest would be linear was beautiful.

Speaking of Countdown: here's the video of Penn jumping out of 3 feet of water. I like this strength trick.

Forrest apparantly had his jaw dislocated early on in the fight and is (was?) deaf in one ear.
