Lol, we actually practiced that during our trainings, but on a huge, thick and soft mat. Otherwise we'd just kill each other. I can't express how hard it is to pick someone up like that, but with a proper grip it becomes easier.
I can't do that in BJJ, too bad though, 'cause that seems like an awesome defense against a triangle chocke. Just pick the fucker up, and slam him... he is sure to loosen his leg grip (just assuming, never tried that in an actual fight).

It's probably best to learn the correct escape, 9 times out of time slamming will sink it in tighter against someone half competent (if your talking about idiot street fighting on concrete then forget about it lol). Rampage to be honest was lucky there to get the ko, Arona was too relaxed probably thought he'd be ok as he didn't hook the leg or even just let go.

Rampage acted in desperation and won the fight. Arona(who is a ADCC champ and jiu-jitsu black belt) definately had a sub in progress.
