keep up the hard work shadow. There is something really enjoyable about pushing yourself to the brink physically. Nothing else can really replace it. It's strange too, how if you fully embrace doing so it can be a tremendous source of pride and enjoyment. But if you are not fully, one-hundred percent commitmitted to it, then it suddenly becomes a dread worthy chore that anchors your day in mediocrity. Power to the obsessed/dedicated, shadow. That is how i choose live my life too (just unfortunately not from an athletic standpoint right now).
P.S. Fight somebody smaller than u already. You deserve it, lol.

Vera was on fire! Old school Muay Thai ftw!
The shit-talking between Rashad and Rampage was priceless.
Damn, people really hate Rashad, huh? Or maybe that was just Rampage's fans. If that's the case, sounded like most of the crowd were Rampage fans.

I like Rampage but I loves me some rashad. That will be a good fight.

I'm kinda sad. If Jardine woulda won Machida apparently would've gotten his shot.

i think machida takes either out n dominant fashion.

That fight would kick a lot of ass but it might not happen

Towards the end of the vid, Dana is talking to Rampage about having the doctors checking him out and seeing if he's going to be able to be at 100% or close to it come May.
If he doesn't take the fight then Machida will. Good either way but Page vs Rashad would be better.

Speaking of, anyone catch what Evans and Page were trash talking each other with at the end? I was in Buffalo wild wings and I couldn't hear a damn thing.

I cant' front, I'm hyped about Lyoto vs Rashad. Rampage vs Rashad woulda been better, imo, but I prefer that Rampage fights at 100% or close to it so that there are no excuses. I love Rampage but sometimes he's got too many excuses for my taste.

Did any of you guys watch Shinya Aoki vs David Gardner? Awesome fight, the end is going to make you wanna laugh and shake your damn head at the same time.

You know, Gardner was doing a great job defending his back...esp against someone like Aoki. I guess he did get board??!?! Anyways....Imanari vs Yamamoto!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been doing a lot of thinking about the death of Mask from tapout. One part of me utterly hates the brand tapout and their cronies. They completely perpetuate the image that 99% of mma enthusiasts try to dispel- that we are a bunch of arrogant, spoiled, utterly brainless meat heads that just want to get into fights and drink. The image that we are so hard up on ourselves that nobody else matters. That dressing from hot topic and wearing face paint makes you "hardcore." They grew into a brand that I almost completely despise.
Then there is the other side. Tapout was part of the mma scene before there was a mma scene in America. They supported the Jiu Jitsu scene as it was being created. Tapout sponsors more fighters, especially at the grassroots level, than any other company involved with mixed martial arts.
3 grown adults running around in make up become a living paradox. The owner dies perpetuating the image he worked to create - brash, ignorant, and careless. Was this a self-fulfilling prophecy? Who knows? Was this death bad for the sport? I don't know. Maybe people will think about the image that they give off and how that image can affect their own actions.
I want to be upset, but the method that he got himself killed leaves little for that.

You don't get a crash like that driving the speed limit. Maybe just not giving a fuck is not the way to go.
I'm going to buy a pair a pair of sprawl shorts.
