I thought or inferred nothing of the sort, you lousy little snotty word-twisting shitmonger. My point was the sheer amazement and stupidity at your advertising something that didn't exist and probably won't exist ever again. And your shitpile of almost entirely useless movies was 116MB, not "almost a gig", you LYING fucking asshole.

And get your goddamn fucking facts straight, you fucking retarded snot nosed cunt pile of manshit. I am not Rax. I have taken NO ONES money. I will do all I can to make certain that the several people that have not received the VFA will get one.

Go wrap your Boxster around a telephone pole you useless shitpile of human detritus.

Lay off the booze and read the post, never said you were Rax. Pissed you off pretty good though didn't I?

And it IS nearly a gig, asshole. Don't blame me if you didn't download everything, and I didn't put everything up.

Also, I would love to claim credit, but most of the movies were not my authorship. Godeater, Mo, Andy et. al. deserve all the props, even if you won't give them any.

    > And it IS nearly a gig, asshole. Don't blame me if you didn't download everything

Well, okay, lets add +60MB because I forgot about the NYC movies (which on the VFA is in a separate dir). Even though half of the fucking things were just sitting in Andy's private little movie toolshed totally w/o any sort of links. Nice management of precious expensive server space there, fuckface(s).

All of the GodEatGod productions stuff is in a separate dir, and fuck you if you think they deserve to be counted in "your" VFDC archive; virtually all of them were sent to me or dl'ed off of other servers. Fuck you for ever counting them part of anything having to do with you or VFDC alone.

The VFDC archive on the VFA is basically all of the linked movies on the character pages, most of which were made by uk_guy. So those, plus the CNYC movies gets you up to 176MB. You're still 824MB short, Captain Snottiend O'Fuckstick.

    > never said you were Rax

No shit asshole. You DID infer that _I_ the one was taking money and running, you vile pus guzzling little shit. DON'T fucking argue with me on this, you fucking squirming little worm.

    > Also, I would love to claim credit,

I'll BET you would, you loser fucking troll. Paying the bill (apparently only when you needed to - it's so cute how VFDC just went KERRRSSPPLLAAATTT earlier this year) is just about the ONLY thing constructive you've ever done with VFDC.

    > but most of the movies were not my authorship. Godeater, Mo, Andy et. al. deserve all the props, even if you won't give them any.

Hey fuck you, you lying shitsmearing cock. Every movie on the VFA is cleary credited (if possible).

    > Lay off the booze and read the post

Pop yourself off those teats and wipe that snot off your nose, kid. Even in my most inebriated form (although tonight was just a pleasant buzz from a little wine, which has since worn off, thanks to you, you fucking miserable buzzkill) I still think and argue more lucidly than you'll ever be able to.

    "Defending right" -> i.e. Aoi.

You should have just said "unless you're using Aoi" then :p

What the hell do you mean by "defending right"? We're talking about a character back turned to Kage after his surprise exchange throw, right? As the back turned non-Aoi character you crouch dash/inch away... why would you touch the guard button? Defending and (crouch) running away are different things, ne?

This is ridiculous. I don't know what the fuck is in your harddrive or on your archive (I never got mine), but the folder on my harddrive called "vfdc archive" says 1.12 GB. Now, I really don't give a shit what you categorize as "VFDC" or as "VFA", but if you're so hot about calling everything under VFA, that's your perogative.

    > No shit asshole. You DID infer that _I_ the one was taking money and running, you vile pus guzzling little shit. DON'T fucking argue with me on this, you fucking squirming little worm.

What an idiot, do I have to spell everything out? I brought that up to demonstrate how fucking difficult it is to host all that information online. Could you do it with your precious VFA? No. You had to rely on someone else to distribute, and that didn't turn out to be a very good solution either now did it?

Don't flatter yourself--not everything I write is to insult you.

    > I'll BET you would, you loser fucking troll. Paying the bill (apparently only when you needed to - it's so cute how VFDC just went KERRRSSPPLLAAATTT earlier this year) is just about the ONLY thing constructive you've ever done with VFDC.

So? So what? Do I owe you something? Do I have to give up my life and dedicate it to a freaking video game? Should I forget about getting good grades in school so I can appease people like you?

Ha. Ha. Ha. Don't be stupid.

    > Hey fuck you, you lying shitsmearing cock. Every movie on the VFA is cleary credited (if possible).

When you insult the information that VFDC had compiled and offered in the past, you insult all the people who contributed to it. That's my point, I'm sorry if you didn't understand.

Yupa, it must be a trend for people to read everything literally.

I mean, is it really necessary to say why defending != pressing guard?

Also, to return to the topic, I don't know where Rich got his information from, but I don't remember the SE -> DP to be escapable by all characters. Unfortunately, I don't have any DC TB mooks on hand with me to refer to.

I bet some people out there do have them and can provide the mook's perspective on this issue. But I also bet a lot of these people are not writing anything because they are afraid of Mr. Bungle here going ballistic. And who wants to be Mr. Bungle's enemy eh?

Why would you want to speak figuratively when talking about tactics?

I mean, is it really necessary to say why defending != pressing guard?

Yeah... I guess it is. For me at least.
"Defending right" just didn't make much sense in the context of this discussion.

    defending == guarding (G button)
running == (crouch) dashing away from opponent
evading == dodging in/out of screen (E button)

Why would you *want* to be ambiguous?

Piccolo is right. That was not Rich's fault -- he's always been up front about his archive. He told us when he couldn't personally meet the demand for them. He told us when he handed the production over to Rax. To his credit, he's as upset about Rax not delivering as everyone else concerned -- more so I'd say.

Don't worry Rich -- everyone knows Jeff is talking stupid there.

I think its the DC technical manual that explains that certain characters on player 1 side (or player 2 side - can't remember which one) can escape Kage's DP after df+PG. Other than that, the DP is guaranteed no matter what. I think Spotlite can back me up on this. I will also ask Hiro to confirm this...

I'm not scared. We actually tested this a long time ago. It's true. On DC VF3 crouch inching away avoids it no matter who you're using. Anyone who has a stick and a pad for a DC can test it yourself by holding D/F with your big toe after your f+P+G with the stick.

    FUCK!

OK, big giant post to answer everyone.

Yupa: I was deliberately ambiguous because 1) I wasn't sure Rich was right and 2) I wanted to include Aoi, who really can avoid the DP with a reversal. Maybe it's because you've been out of the scene for some time, maybe it's because we just grew up on different terminology, but to me, "defense" is the opposite of "offense" and that "guard" is the opposite of "attack." So when I say "guard," that's when the G button is involved. When I say "defend," it's more general term for uh, defending.

KBcat: Read my post to Rich again. I'm not talking stupid, you're reading stupid.

CreeD: This thread pissed me off so much that I did exactly what you wrote. Kage versus Kage, Akira stage, with my toe on 2nd player's D/F (or D/B). I tested it parallel and eight stance. 10/10, IT WORKS EVERY FUCKING TIME. You're too slow old man, practice some more.

ICE: I've read it and I still think your talking stupid for insinuating that Rich was ripping people off. You said:

Oh wait, maybe I should just compile everything on a CD, collect money from people for the archive and never deliver.

Since Rax had not yet been mention at all in the thread yet -- your implication was that Rich was stealing money from people. This is stupid because we all know what happened. Rax took orders and never delivered -- not Rich. Rich made it clear way back that he had handed the VFA over to Rax for distribution. Just because he compiled the archive doesn't mean he was responsible for Rax's actions.

If you don't think you were wrong in what you said then you're an idiot -- plain and simple.

kbcat -- you don't have to get all defensive. Just be big enough to admit when you have made a mistake. (I consider implying someone is a thief when you know better is a mistake.)

Keep digging, Jeff. The hole is getting bigger and bigger. You should've bailed out early and admitted you "defending right" comment was poor.

Implying the Rich was taking people's cash - sarcastic or not - was pretty dumb, too. Maybe midterms are getting to ya right now - you should take a break. Wouldn't want to stress out too much and blow those marks, now.

Oh, and by the way, one who writes stupid, is often read stupid. Let's get to the root of the problem, here, k?

    Re: FUCK!

ARGH! I admit that in the original post I had intentionally written it in such a way to get Rich pissed. He's big on ripping on people so I thought I'd turn the tables on him and see how he liked it.

Never at any point did I accuse Rich of stealing, although I did accuse him of being a hog for bashing VFDC and the information that people in the past contributed to it.

I was intentionally seeking out Rich's knee-jerk reaction, and it came as I expected, but I was certainly surprised to see yours and Llanfair's. kbcat, you accused me once before for being sensitive, but who's the sensitive one now? Does Rich need you to defend him? Why are you so being so jumpy? Take care of your own problems and let Rich take care of his own neh?

When I asked you to reread my post, I actually wanted you to read this bit:

What an idiot, do I have to spell everything out? I brought that up to demonstrate how fucking difficult it is to host all that information online. Could you do it with your precious VFA? No. You had to rely on someone else to distribute, and that didn't turn out to be a very good solution either now did it?

The REASON I brought VFA's distributive failure up is to SHOW to Rich in a manner that I thought he could understand how DIFFICULT it is to pass all that information around. You think it's easy to do it online? It's not. Otherwise Rich would've done it with his VFA. Is it easy to do distribute it physically? It's not. Otherwise I would've done it a long time ago.

Llanfair, I hope that's clear enough for you. I don't know if I can dumb things down any further.

All this time no one's mentioned a god damn thing about the gameplay. So what's the verdict? Who are these infamous SE -> DP testers? Are they the same ones who concluded that Shun's chouwan after SE is not guaranteed?

Hmm..could be the very same. But maybe we're too *dumb* to test it out. Why don't you test it for us, oh godly ice-9? Oh, yeah. That's right. You don't have VF4 to test if SE-DP is guaranteed. That must really suck.

Late as it may seem...I agree with this....I remember a yr ago...I asked myke how to escape from this...and this was the exact method myke taught me...and I have used it from time to time to escape this...

    >This is ridiculous.

Yeah, it is ridiculous. What the hell are you padding it with, underage cat porn? Even counting the GOG stuff, anything that was on your server at a time never added up to anywhere near 1.12GB.

    > I brought that up to demonstrate how fucking difficult it is to host all that information online.

You fucking slimy worm. Really, if you think saying "I guess you must think it costs nothing to host. Oh wait, maybe I should just compile everything on a CD, collect money from people for the archive and never deliver." was actually supposed to demonstrate THAT (line above), then you ARE fucking retarded! You can try and twist and spin it some more, but you won't get anywhere, just be digging that hole bigger and deeper.

    >So? So what? Do I owe you something? Do I have to give up my life and dedicate it to a freaking video game? Should I forget about getting good grades in school so I can appease people like you?

Whenever the argument about utter the shit job you do (did) of "maintaining" VFDC, this always comes up. You whine and scream and give the old argument about not wanting to dedicate too much time and all that:

Me: Hey Jeff, how about some VF1 and VF2 info!

Jeff: *losing control* nOooOOO YouUUU DO IT AAAAAIIRRRGHHH I'TS A COMMUNIty EFFORT nOT MY JOB I DON'T want to APPEASE LOSERS LIKE YOUUUU!!! I CAn'T MAKE THiS SITE MY LIFE AAAAARRRGHHHH

Me: Well Jeff...maybe at least just put up the text stuff on GameFaqs. It's small.

Jeff: *absolutely hysterical* NNOOOOWOWWWWW AAAAARRRGHHHHHHH FUCK YOU NOT MY JOB NOT MY LIFE IT'S SO HARD RUNNING THIS PLACE ALREADY WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT FROM ME YOU LOSER FUCKS AAARRRRGHHHHHHH *shits diaper*

It's old, tired, and bullshit. You were totally fucking incapable or adamantly rejected the idea of adding basic, good small sized text info that's been around for years. You complain about paying for the mystery 1GB of movies but you never could upload a few MB of plain text. If you can't even manage that, or even see that it might have been good to add it, or even if you really you don't want to maintain the site because you don't have the time, then hey - here's a handy tip: DON'T.

Well actually you took that to heart anyway. I've had access to the old VFDC servers, I'd seen them before. And while I know about |....| that much about the in-depth facts of maintaining a site, I had enough common sense to know that it was a fucking mess, something which was backed up by others who use the site.

In the end his really doesn't bother me, actually. All I'm saying is that your site has really been a poor fucking excuse for a VF site. GameFaqs made a better VF info site than this place, for chrissakes. If you can't realize how fucked up that is, and/or simply ignore that and then try to make me look like a loon for wanting something just even *slightly* better with a few extra, SIMPLE additions, then fuck you, Jeff. Drop the site, let someone else do the job. You don't seem to want it.

    > Ha. Ha. Ha. Don't be stupid.

Right on. You should try that sometime. Might work out for you, freak.
