Sup Cosmic? Nothing much new here. It looks like I'm moving to Houston in Feb. so maybe I'll find some VF players there. It's doubtful, but you never know. Do you know of any?

I haven't played VF in a month or so, but I'm just taking a break for now. I'm always ready to get back into it whenever people want to play. And I still plan on making it to Austin one of these days, so I'll keep you updated.

Anyway, HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!!!

They don't even know what VF4 even is down there in houston, sorry to say /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif In fact I have no idea what the houston crew is up to these days... you could always check the threads on electriccancel.com and tekkenzaibatsu.com.

I hardly play myself now that I am into FF11.

Yeah, i figured there wouldn't be much VF action in Houston. At least there's a ton of 2D gamers there if I ever want to get back into that. I may end up moving to Phoenix, AZ though, so who knows if anyone plays there. But a trip to CA from AZ is only around 6 hours, so that's kind of cool. You can't beat all the competition CA has. They got a lot of great VF players.

Well, I hope you guys aren't giving up on VF and are just taking a little break. I know I'll never give up on VF. The game is still as fun as it's ever been. And since you learn new things all the time, it never gets old.

I'll keep you updated on where I end up moving to. If it's Houston, then I'll definitely try to come to Austin to get you guys playing again. Show you my crappy Lion. /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Hey everybody,whats up. I am also new at VF. I've been playing Soul Calibur 2 seriously ever since it came out. Now that the hype for SC2 is dying, well in San Antonio at least it is. I'm picking up VF4EVO and I'm making Kage my main character. I've heard he is hard to pick up but I'm going to try my best, since right now I don't have a PS2. But eventually I'll get one. So see you on the playing field.

I'm moving to Houston the last week of February. If anyone is in the area, give me a shout if you want to get in some VF action. Otherwise it'll be a few weeks before I get the car fixed before I could take it to Austin or San Antonio.

Kage is mad hard to learn man but you'll get him down eventually. Vanessa/Goh are my 2 so far, Goh is really dirty man. Vanessa.........wow. I think they made her worse in Evo, but damn, I think they beefed her up. OS 214P+G makes me smile /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

But yeah, Fridays are the normal SC2 days for us, but other days of the week, I'm mostly playing Evo now. Really fun so far

Give this another 2 months, and I'll start throwing VF4EVO tourneys at GamersEdge, another way to draw in money.

We still get together on Fridays, but its just me and Lee and Russell and we usually end up playing a little of everything out of boredom. They're gonna get FFXI on pS2 when it comes out so...

After some work, i started to gather some interest for Evo here in SA. If i continue this, it will start a domino effect and attract more players. Granted, it will be slow, but once someone garners interest in something, by word of mouth more follow.

Anyone from other cities who wanna get in on this and help start something big, lemme know whats up and post up.

And no, its not too late... Alot of people are starting to get bored with theyre respective games and are looking for something more satisfying. This is where Evo comes in...

Con mentioned having a tourney for this sometime soon. The next MAJOR tourney for this is TIT6, which most likely, me/con will be the only SA guys competing. Most likely SA_Rob will start playing again, but we'll see what happens. I would like hold a tourney for this after Evo, possibly the middle of august.

SA will be the PREMIERE city in TX for VF in a few months /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif
