While it's nice to see activity on the texas thread, I'm not sure even lighthearted flaming is the best use of the thread . . . I'd like to keep it in my favorites list without my email box being flooded with sega v namco.

Slightly more on-topic, anyone in central austin going to / from the gatherings / tourney? NW austin is a bit out of the way for non-car owning folk such as myself.

Anyways I agree to stop "flaming" if Jim stops trolling these boards. It's pointless. I don't troll the sc2 forums, he should offer the same respect.

KoD-- What part of town are you on anyways? I'm always down for playing at someone else's place if you wanna host to save gas and such... up to you. This friday will be at my new apt... it will be a bit raw since I'll still be unpacking, but definately more spacious.

I'm in a 1-bedroom right near campus. Wouldn't mind hosting, but limited space plus 20" monitor can hardly compete w that beast of a TV /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'll prolly be moving to a house in a month or two, but have no plans to get a big screen anytime soon. . .

Tourney this friday

For those interested in attending this friday's tourney, it's gonna start late (to accomodate the dallas players)... I plan on getting it going around 10pm, shortly after their planned arrival. Everyone is welcome to show up before that for practice, etc.

Some house rules tho:

Basically, we need to keep it down... no loud voices inside or outside and try to walk lightly, also, everyone will need to take their shoes off when the come in to help keep the carpet clean... the old apt carpet is filthy from shoes /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif Otherwise we should be ok. Anyone that needs address or directions(new apt) IM me or hit me up on the cell, 750 2910

I sent a PM to him a week ago asking where him and his crew get together to play and he never replied back, so I don't know what's up.

But if you can give me his # maybe I can call him and see what's up. If he's going to your tourney and can give me a ride then I'll be there for sure. I'll help him out with gas money, that's no problem.

Yeah, I'm still in town. I'll be here for probably a year or so. Right now I live in Arlington, right near the Mansfield border. About 10 min. south of I-20 and The Parks Mall.

If you can give me a ride Dom, that'd be awesome of you. I'd drive myself but I'd have to take my dads car and I don't think he'd appreciate seeing 400+ extra miles on his car. That and his 3000GT swallows gas like nobody's business.

But if you can fit me in, then cool. I'll pay my share for the gas cost, whatever you guys decide.

I'll pm you my # and email address.

Computer is down

I am offline right now at home due to a nasty virus on my PC... I'm wiping the HD and reinstalling windows so in the meantime you cannot reach me online. Right now I'm in the business office at my apts so access is very limited.
