My big issue with Tekken is the movement. You tend to move around the stage using combat moves. When we used to play, the matches end up being very much jousting matches.

Well, when i played motorstorm with just one of my friend. I never really saw any type of lag. But, when there were more people starting to show up in my server. I started to see lag. So, from what i can say; the more people you have in your room, the chances are, you'll have lag.

Also, based on the PSP's Wifi Ad-hoc mode. Tekken had from very little, to nothing of lag.

I don't know, but something tells me. If they do it right, the online version of this game can work.

Ad-hoc mode is different than infrastructure mode. MK 2 sometimes lags so guess its going to depend also on the other persons connection. Either way your going to get lag at some point. Online gaming is far from being decent but atleast I give credit for namco trying to increase their fanbase. Shows that they some what care.

exactly it shows that they some what care unlike sega. unless you live in japan. i bet any money tekken6 out sells VF5 big time. its sucks because VF in my opinion is a much better game. in a time where arcades are dead outside of japan some sort of online feature would be nice.

Nah, that'll be SC4. Tekken will help tho' due to it's popularity, but SC is the mainstream fighter of coice.

In order for Sega to release a patch wouldn't they have had to have SOME kinda online code for it? Which I believe they didn't due for PS3 VF5

I also honestly think this will help the in the end too_Of course there will be TONS of assholes who talk shit, and say their the next best thing in Tekken because they win through lag or whatever flaws that may show up,but for the people who appreciate it and build friends through the online play will have a very great way of building up the scenes around their areas.

It's much more convenient to be able to talk to and play locals directly through the game than a message board IMHO.Plus for areas that seriously lack arcades(like mine)makes this the greatest features anyone could ask for.I guess we'll have to wait and see how it will work out once it's released.

well, Soulcalibur 4 now has online for both 360 and PS3. I hope that Sega steps up with VF5 on 360. If they don't, Namco is gonna trounce them. Again. :p

Online would be a plus for VF5.
It may lag like hell and 12 yr old noobs will be banging on about how "l33t" they are but it will increase sales and that can only be a good thing.

Like I care for online play. I do not understand how unique it is other than playing against people all over the world.[/size]
