When Tekken5 is released, it'll be very hard for the arcade managers financially because they literally have to buy the whole Tekken5 cabinet. From what I heard, that price is almost around 25 grand. Most of you should know the rest, you can basically buy a very decent car with that kind of price tag.

Now the reason why is because they're is no way that you can play Tekken5 on any other cabinet therefore just buying the kit isn't going to work at all. One is the card system, and two is the online thing that I've yet to see. The system that namco will be using is the 256 board. So far IMO Tekken5 is shaping up well despite only being 50% complete while playing it at Evo04. I'm still suprised that Namco is releasing it to the arcades first since the arcade industry itself is very much dying off. I'm just hoping that it'll be much better then Tekken4.

I wonder if T5 and VF4/5 cabinents and card readers will be interchangeable? That might be the reason for the partnership...
