Call to Arms, Thursday July 20th

I'm calling for my NYC peeps to meetup at Web2Zone this Thursday, July 20.

4 of us are competing at the VYTME tourney this weekend and we need some sparring sessions before we head down there.

Also want to point that attendance on Fridays has been very lacking the past month or so. Should we schedule our meetups on another day for now on? Please discuss.

I havent been to W2Z for a while... Gotta work at midnight. I might come on Thursday night though.

Where is the August NY tournament anyway? Am I the only one who has no idea what's happening?

I'd have to see the settings but basically what times do you guys play on the machine?

I vaguely recall someone saying there are only certain times when vfnet works so what you do is you make sure W2Z closing time is the same at the end of vfnet shutdown. I thought it was like 1am or some such. To be safe assume it's midnight. Then if W2Z closes at 2am, you set the clock 2 hrs behind so the card slots stop working midnight machine time but it's really 2am (or whatever W2Z closing time is).

I'm not 100% though. Worth a shot.

 

Machine is "Fixed"

I know some people noticed the "Out Of Order" sign on the 1P side. There was nothing really wrong with the machine itself. The lock for the coins cabinet broke and no way to close it. I replaced the lock ayer and things should be good at W2Z.

Lets get back into meeting up guys. Since summertime it has been slowing down.

August is upon us and it looks like we wont have a big tourney/gathering this month as promised but I still want to plan for a big event before the end of the year. I'm looking for feedback on this from anyone. I specifically want to hear from NYC players. Please post your thoughts on this matter.

I saw Dave in Otakon... But we didnt bother to play VF there without sticks, sigh. Let's wait for VF5, folks. Instead wasting all the money that we will need for VF5... Just imagine how much money we will save if we dont play VF for six months.

Typically every week I dont go to W2Z I save around 20 bucks(Just watch how many rolls of quarters I get you would know). Let's say VF5 release on March there will be about seven months. For seven months there will be about 28 weeks. 28 x 20 = 560!!! Kinda close, right? Of course this equation only fits for me...

But yeah, I will pay any prize for getting VF5. I am more afraid about the prize of a good HDTV for the game...

If VF5 was available for NA how do you expect us to save up for it if ppl don't play FT. Of course we don't trust me ppl to save up money for VF5 by themselves that's what the machine is for so we can have it in advance.
