hey guys are there any parking garages near web2zone? how far is the place from penn station?

I don't pay attention to parking garages but I'm sure they're are many close by if you wish to park in one for safety.

Web 2 Zone is only a few train stops away from Penn Station. You can catch the R or W line to 8th St and your 3 blocks away or you take any yellow line train (N,Q,R,W) to 14th St and transfer to the downtown 6 one stop to Astor Place and then your 1 block away.

i showed up at web2zone last night and there was some party down where the FT machine and the consoles were...did u guys go play somewhere else?

I heard the news at 7:30 about the party. I caught up with some guys to eat and we finished around 10:15. The guys said W2Z would let us play after 11 but I don't think anyone stuck around to wait.

Yeah, this Friday sucked ass. I gave up a chance to win a Mac Book Pro to play VF, I got there and we we're gonna be kicked out. We weren't really botherin the kids and party. And like Denkai said, it looks like they weren't having any fun anyways /versus/images/graemlins/lol.gif

Dont tell me he walked 8 hours in the rain still got no VF at the end!!!!! Thank god I was studying my final that night for Saturday.

Anyway, can anyone check out W2Z to confirm if they have a party this Friday?

Seeing as a VF session can easily be postponed by some little party, how about we try to get an alternative place for VF? Aren't there any other places we can rent consoles for VF? How about at someone's place? My house is only a few train rides away. We shouldn't give up so easily.

BTW, I've seen some parking garages on the way to web2zone. Does anyone know how much it costs per hour to park?

Myke: Tech was AWOL for awhile. Just recently got in touch with him. He has hours of raw footage from various nights we (NYCVF) hope to host online. Hopefully before August. /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

AkiraZero: This was the only incident at W2Z when we couldn't play on our regular Friday night. We have coincided with other parties before; I don't know why last Friday was an exception. I plan to talk to W2Z to see if we can get some notice so this won't happen again.

The only other game lounge close by I'm aware of is located in Harlem. I don't think the majority of players would want to travel uptown that far. /versus/images/graemlins/indifferent.gif

If I was to take a guess about parking garages, expect to pay well over $10 an hour. Someplaces in the city charge over $20! /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I have to make a last minute trip to the Philippines on account of a family emergency. So, i won't be around for about 2-3 weeks. After that my summer will be devoted to learning Japanese and training VF.

It's a good amount of time for everyone to catch to me, especially Kazu. /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif /versus/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Haya, ECC always falls on Memorial Day Weekend. Its in Dunellen, NJ. The arcade is called 8 on the Break. There is train and bus service directly there from NYC.

Saturdays games are MVC2, CVS2, 3S and DOA4. Sundays are finals for the 3 Capcom games, ST and GGXX-/. (No VF /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif )
