yo wassup fellas. my name is eddel. i live in Virginia. i am building a scene here and it is going pretty well. you guys, on the other hand, have a sick ass scene. check it right...me and Shadowdean are planning to throw our own tournament around early April. i was just wondering if you guys were interested in joining. i would greatly appreciate it for it will definitely help bring VF attention. my AIM sn is bboiflash. holla at me.

too busy with Hokuto no Ken these days. Mr.Heart owns Wolf!!! No, even Taka as well. I havent play a big character can throw like that crazy since Wolf in FT. Yeah, Yosuke, if u happen to pass by Chinatown, checkout Kong Man Center at 89 Bowery st. In the very end of the store they have KOF XI and Hokuto no Ken. I know you play KOF too, am i right?

Wow, Kong Man gets all the import arcade games. /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif Do they have SS Tenka there Tian? I plan to mod my PS2 and get the import version cause I doubt it will get a domestic release until a year from now.

nope, no Tenka. That's because kof and ss released at the same time and the store owner obviously wanted kof so no sstenka. the funny thing is i played both tenka(ps2) and fist of the north star first time at the same day. I have to say sstenka is great but hnk is ground breaking. I am waiting to see interesting things going to happen in this year's SBO, so many new games...

So it seems like i just missed another opportunity to attend the gathering and meet yosuke, sigh.

Well, you might miss out on tonights session but I'm sure he'll be around on Saturday and you can catch him then. Tonight, we'll have direct feed taped matches thanks to Technical Monkey. /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif I prolly wont be around on Sat though. I plan to go to NJ for a ST tourney.

I'm a bit surprised by your statement, I know you love the SS series of games. HNK looks cool but from the few vids I've seen it seems kinda broken with the instakill supers.

sigh... i wont be in the city tomorrow. what a coincidence.

Hotuko no ken does have some buggy stuff but even Aoi has infinite spin in version C. the thing is this game is a new series, and so far it's tempo is much faster than all other new 2D ftg(kof xi, sstenka, and nbc) on AW board, and has no loading time too. The crazy oki gameplay reminds me facing Adam and Kazu That's fun, and it's all i need.

I'm really sorry guys, I can't make it to NYC this weekend. I went to the bus today and to my surprise, they raised the tickets prices from $20 each way to $80 each way. What this means is that if I did make it to NYC tonight, I wouldn't have any money for food, vf play, or the money to come back. I'll have to postpone this trip until a more well planned visit next time. I do have a NYC trip lined up this year for business purposes, so it'll be until then.

ver B? anyway, i think it's weird to have more bugs after ver A. The good news is such thing doesnt anymore in Evo and FT. I tried Aoi's bug in CTF's VF4 cabinet before, it didnt work(ver C?), but the animation is very arkward and fast, plus Aoi did weird things like PPPK facing away rather than the backturned P that suppose to come out. Interesting...

So how did everything go this weekend? Everyone is happy?

 

Just a question, what were your final costs for importing final tuned?
