Its all good dude... I just recently got the urge to get back into VF so I wasnt even checking this page. If you guys play sunday's Ill probably be able to make it like 50% of the time randomly. Unless I have $$ Issues this week Ill def be there.

What time does this place open? I have never touched FT so I might as well go there as early as possible to get some games in and get a feel for how the game plays... that and check up on new lion stuffs within VFDC /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif

The next Sunday Team tourney gathering should be on Oct. 30. So put that into your planner. People always meet to play on Thursday from 4 till closing. Other days is a toss up but you might find people on Tuesday and Friday nights.

Game Time Nation opens at 12 everyday. Su-Th they close at 8:30-9. Fri-Sa they close after 11PM. Bring your own quarters, the register usually doesn't have much to offer in change.

I wont be able to make it on the 30th because of a SC3 tourney... If some of you guys say youll be there fri night till after 10 Ill be there for sure.

And are the sticks still really loose in that machine?

When is it due out anyway? To be honest, not having an arcade release and having an exclusive single console release frowns on me for taking it seriously. /versus/images/graemlins/deadpan.gif

The reason for the tourney so early is that my and I buddies are having weeklies... www.crookedjester.com if your interested. Were starting now because the tourney's dont matter as much as the mass casual play we get going before and after to learn the game faster then anyone else. Qualifiers for ntionals are going to be held probably within the first 6 months and we dont want to run into any suprises there so were going to get started in a hurry. With as many tourney's that you can find fot the SC scene we want to get a leg up on people for them as well... www.soulcalibur.com has almost all tourney's listed there if anyone is interested. I really wish VF had this kind of community but its unfortunate that the game isnt nearly as beginner friendly as the SC series /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif Its sad but not everyone wants to be a gamer of competative level and to get good at VF you need to want that edge and levels of play are much more apparent unlike SC where its easy for a newbie or even the occasional masher to beat a mediocre player who knows what hes doing

The reason they are skipping arcade release is because of money. SC is big in the US moreso then asia and the big money making here is done with console games not arcade games. The exact reverse of VF... which is big on arcade and not console and FT skipped console altogether. If you havent noticed the arcade industry in the US is dying... CTF might not show it but local arcades around the country are going broke because of the console biz and this is just another nail in the coffin.

CYC will be coming to NYC on monday the 14th and will be staying till thurs when he leaves for chicago. kazu told me he really wants to meet you guys and play against you so he will be going to GTN every day while he is in NYC. so please guys if you see this post and you can, do show up.

hey everyone sorry i am posting this so late. This sunday our tourney will not start until 3PM. GTN is having a private party and you all know no one is allowed in except people from the party. I apologize for not posting this sooner, but I have been working a great deal for these past few days.(12-15hours) Also I hate to drop more and more bad news on everyone, but there is a small posibility that I may not be able to attend the tourney tomorrow. My absence will also be work related. Hopefully I will be able to attend.

As Kazu says, CYC-san will be at GTN tomorrow evening as well.

Also, Wednesday will be the final night for CYC-san in NY. We're planning to head out to have Shao-Long-Pao afterwards. It will be sometime around 8:30 - 9:00 depending on how quickly Sal arrives. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

(I'd have to skip tomorrow for work though)
