I just want to say thanks to Shag for keeping score and doing the brackets. I really had a great F***ing time man. I can't wait for the next one. Also a big up to Jason Cha for taking the pics and coming up with some great caption. I think pulled a muscle in my stomach when I read the wolf & rodney cop a feel one. Good stuff! Yea, Kazu did look pretty tired from pressing that damn Japanese button. I swear when I find that button I will disable the wires.

Let's keep the good times rolling guys. I hope to see you guys there in 2 weeks. Everyone that couldn't make it this time I hope you can make it next time.

Oh shoot... One more thing. Hiro is coming down this weekend. I would like to hold a pretty simple team battle tournament in his honor at some point before he leaves. If anyone has time this weekend maybe we can throw something together for him on Saturday after Trevor's tourney.

just wanted to say thanks to Shag for throwing a really nice tourney. I had a lot of fun. Thanks goes out to everyone that participated. I can't wait for the next one.

Honestly, I think we should all play really hard until early next year. Shortly before VF5 drops we should have one last single man tourney. I think it would be a real blast if we could get everyone involved.

First of all, thank you, Shag, for hosting the tournament. It was very fun. Although the weather was terrible, people showed up and it was good to see them there. Also, I enjoyed playing a bit on Friday night with the regulars as well. Too bad that Sal could not make it on Saturday. Since I have to go to Berkeley again in November, I don't know when I ca go to NY next time, but I hope to come down some time in the winter. In the meantime, have fun down in NY.

Lastly, Kazu, congratulations on your victory!!

Thanks to Shag for hosting and everyone for showing up and playing! Nice to have the Kun from Boston, err...Amherst come down and play with us.

Let's get the team battle tourney up and running on Sunday at a relatively early time, so that we all have time to go eat together. (That is probably the best part about Team Battle Sunday.)

I was wondering where you guys play nowadays... Ive recently gotten back into the fighting game scene and Im looking to see when I could get up with you guys and play some VF. I hear you all talking about some GTN place but Im clueless as to where it is...

Help me out with how to find you gus and Ill see what I can do about getting up to there when you guys usually play

this sunday's tournament was a complete bust. Everyone can you please try to make it to team battle Sunday's. If people are not showing up because they do not like the way the teams are decided then please say something. I am just trying to create a common ground where we all can get together and enjoy playing VF and learning more about each other. Hence.... TEAM BATTLE! For the people who have to work or study because of school I have no beef with you. It's all the others that think staying home is more important than supporting their friends and this scene who I am a little disappointed in. We are all busy. We would all like to sleep in on Sunday's. If we all did that then how do we expect our scene to grow. If anyone has a better idea to make Sundays more fun or anything that they think will drive people to get out of there beds, please post it.

Last but not least.... I really would like to start the tournaments at 1PM sharp from now on. If we could have everyone there by no later than 12:45PM that would be great.

oh one last thing... I would like to do a small one on one tournament this thursday with who ever shows up around 6PM - 6:15PM... Kazu, Adam and myself will be excluded from the tournament. The winner of the Tournament will then have to draw from a hat to battle either Kazu, Adam, or myself in a best of 3. If the winner of the tournament wins just 1 match.... I REPEAT... 1 MATCH they win a prize. /versus/images/graemlins/lol.gif

Sorry to butt in....

Just curious as to why you exclude Kazu and yourself from the tournament. Is it because you are obviously the best in your scene, or because you organising it or something?

Also, I have an idea for you to motivate people to get their fat-asses out of bed; naked ladies!!!!
