also it looks like we will have to readjust the teams for all the new peeps that will be attending. I will try to give it some thought on saturday or figure it out on sunday when I see which new peeps show up. lol I think I will do option B, it seems to make more sense since I really don't know which new peeps will show up.

Team tourney is this Sunday and tentatively every other Sunday.

I'm hosting a singles tourney a week from tomorrow. That's Saturday October 8th. You and your friends better show, if your willing to drive to Ohio for a tourney I'm sure you can handle going cross the bridge. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Freezing Bug

Hey, so anyone know what's going on behind this? I dropped by again today and no Error 24, but looks like freeze bug's there. I don't think it's just a matter of flipping the machine off and on again?

Heh heh, same thing happened to me today too Jason. It would freeze after being on for no more than 2 minutes. After losing a dollar, I tested it often enough to notice it would freeze at a particular part at the trailer almost every time. It freezes when Lion and Shun fight. Also I noticed that the machine wouldn't freeze up so fast if the second monitor was off. But who wants to play the CPU all day.

ION, Joenoet stopped by. He says he can't make Thursday sessions because he takes kung-fu lessons that day. I mentioned him about the weekend tournies and he said he'll try to show up for them.

 

Playing on Tuesdays?

You know, I really want to start up another day for playing other than Thursdays. Anyone up for Tuesdays? Or Saturdays? I just want to play more.

FT used to freeze for us also every so often, and it was definitely the amount of voltage on the power supply. We had to adjust it higher just right to find the sweet spot. Don't go too high though, that's probably bad. But now it never freezes, even if we leave it on for a couple of days. And I heard if you move the cabs around it sometimes moves the voltage down some since it's easy for it to adjust on it's own, so I would check that.

On the other thread (I did not read the whole thing..), did it say that the tournament is on Saturday?? I am going down to NY toward the weekend, and I was thinking of going to the tournament on Saturday... If it's on Sunday, I don't think I am going. Anyway, I will be in for Friday night and Saturday. (I have to go to NYU to discuss math on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, but for other time, I will probably be playing VF.)
Well, I suppose it's better for me if the tournament is on Sunday so that I can play more when I am there on Friday and Saturday. (If there is a tournament on Saturday, it would probably take a lot of time...)

hi texas lion by voltage which one do you mean? i adjusted the 3volt psu the grey one but iam sure there is other voltage the cab seems to have its own psu can you please tell me how to adjust that one.

Well I have 2 power supplies on mine. One's a 3v that powers up the main mobo I believe, and the other one is a 5v and 12v that is connected to the jamma cable that splits to both cabs to help power up the 2nd cab. So I had to adjust both of them. I don't know how yalls is setup, but follow that jamma cable that connects to both cabs and see if it's split to a power supply as well. That's where mine is. There's a little voltage adjuster on there. If you find it, move it ever so slightly clockwise and try it again. If it freezes you got to up it some more. Keep doing that until it doesn't freeze up on you. I hope it helps. If you can't find another power supply, then I don't know what to tell you. I own these cabs but I'm far from a pro at working them. It took like a month to figure out mine since it didn't come with that 2nd power supply, the 5v-12v one. I had to buy that one seperate, as well as have them make that jamma split cable for me since no one seems to sell it.

Oh man, can I say Cruz is the man? He got the machine working 100% tonight! Unbelievable!!!

It was great seeing Nelson pop up. Shame he had to leave just before the end of the tourney...

Anyway, will post picts soon. I just captured all the video-footage of the tournament - I think I have about 11 gigs of raw mpg data here. Might take a little while to edit/compress down for web distribution...

Gotta finish this marketing homework first tho... (yah, it was that binder/stuff I was working on while at the tourney today...)
