Kenka's a beautiful place. Unfortunately no Kenka and no FT for a while.

Back in town after Christmas, later y'all. Hopefully the buttons will all be working.

well if you think it looks good then it's not a waste of money. I hope it looks good. Anyways it's nice to spoil yourself every now and then even if it's just on a hair cut or getting braids.

by the way, Shag great games these last couple of sessions. Stop making me piss in my pants. I'm tired of always going 5 rounds with you. /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

    Re: Game Time Nation

On Friday, the guy at the counter told me $50-65. A bit more than I'm used to paying ($40) but I felt like giving them a try. When I was done Saturday morning, a woman at the counter told me it was $78. The guy who told me the price earlier was there (he washed my hair) but I didnt want to make a big fuss over it. I gave the person who braided my hair a $10 tip after I payed the counter. It looks good but its nothing special, simple straight cornrows. If I knew they would've charged that much from the beggining, I would not have done it. /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

About my game, I've notcied I'm ALWAYS going to 5 rounds with the veterans,(Konjou, Adam, Kazu) but I almost never get the final round. /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif The same thing happens the few sessions I've had with Ramrod. sigh, I guess I just got to play harder.

    Hey, Rodney.

I was trying to reach you, but I couldn't get hold of you.
We were gonna go down this week, but Elise's friends were coming from France and we did not have a place to stay so we postponed it. Technically, we could stay at Adnan7s but it would be awkward for Michiko to be with strangers, I suppose.

Anyway, we are thinking of going down there over the weekend of Jan 14. (Monday is a holiday.) I'll be teaching from Jan 3rd, and that's the only time I have in January. I hope you can make time then.

    Regards,

    Hiro

ora ora ora ora oraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! See you soon Hiro-kun. As for Nelson, shag is right. He is a hard person to find now. I will try!

Oh and Shag, is that DVD FT footage. It's probably a copy of the gathering Ohsu Akira had at his place. He has his very own FT machine. That copy was for Shou. He must have forgotten it. Anyways if that is the DVD just keep it. I can send Shou another one if he still wants it. He doesn't watch any footage anyways so I am sure he will not mind if you keep it.

    Re: Game Time Nation

Yeah, that's the DVD. I watched some of it. I'll bring it next time and I guess pass it off to someone else to share.

Gametime closes at 7 today for New Years Eve, so I doubt I'll be there today. Pass the word around.

Tonight's session at GTN was really inspiring.
Adam-Those off the wall air throws were exciting to watch, even if they were against me.
Konjou-controlled aggression is the only way I can describe the animal your Akira has become.I need some new offf beat way to break that momentum.
Kazu-Someday I will decipher the riddle of the magic Lau.
Smurfu-Your Akira style, very tough and unpredictable.
Cruzlink2- You had the old drunkman working overtime.
The Akira throw was hot too.
Shag- You always remind me why Goh is my least favorite.
Raziel- Jacky was looking pretty,Shun was tricky.
Sudden Death-Kage Lei, and Jeff were deadly as ever.
    Thanks for the tips Coach.
Tianyaun2k2- the Jacky hit throw is new for me , but I'll have an answer for it shortly.
Hayatogx- Your Goh looked rugged,Wolf was healthy too.

Till next time (tomorrow), Thanks for the memories.
Hope to see even more familiar faces there.

It seems Thursday night is the time to hang. 10 people show up to play. It was really good. I showed up at GTN on Friday night @ 10:00 and only Vulcan and Subbers was there. /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif
