I'm very jealous that you guys have such a great scene. I wish I could be out there to enjoy the ctf hotness! It's good to here that vf is alive in other places in America. Keep the spirit alive fellas! Maybe in my next lifetime stl will become a ctf??? How many players exsist that come on a regular basis? Do you have a player for every character? Sorry, but I have been curious for a longtime now about NYC and it's scene. Thanks for answering my questions in advance.

Konjou, let us know what the damage is when the parts order goes in. I'm sure we can find sufficient donations to absorb some if not all the costs. I have to jump in and agree that I think it's great that the level of competition has escalated. It's not nearly as common for someone to stay on the machine a full round of players anymore. Also, we have to find a new pho place or get there earlier, last time they were too distracted with side work to do little things... say bring all the orders much less get them right.

Kaminari Oyaji, I'd say it's rare for there to be less than 10 competitive people the days I stop by to see who's around. Some others who go by more often might know more though. I think among the regulars there's at least one person who can competently play each of the characters with maybe 2-3 of them less represented than others.

Haha, I SPoDed Rodney and Sal last Friday! As an Akira newbie, using SPoD in real match is not easy for me... And yes, gotta thank Sal for teaching me a lil tech about Kage. Akira and Kage are my favorite for now.

... WHERE IS FINAL TUNE? IS IT COMING??? I think I can donate up to sixty bucks if needed. I can't wait to get the cards as well.

Anyone going to CTF other than Friday night? Due to my new class schedule, I got to leave CTF after 5pm on Friday /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif So I am looking for another time... I am free on Monday night and almost every afternoon in the weekdays. Anyone going to CTF during that time?

Sup all the NYC serious VFers! As said, I am heaving over to NYC tonight. I will be making an apperance at CTF at least by 5:00 PM and also join the after party. Thank you for the new stick and buttons. That's hemma awesome and I feel flattered.

Can't wait to see the old friends and new faces that I've wanting to meet up with for a long time.

First off, I'd like to thank all the NYC and Boston brothers for making out and hanging out with me on Sat. I wished I'd had more energy so that I could hang out more&play more with everyone, but the overnight driving without any sleeping the night before got me really worn out, and I got sick toward the end of it so had to stop there. Nevertheless, I had such a blast, and especially hanging out with the CTF crew for the first time was an awesome experience. I've always wanted to meet the CTF crew, and I found out that all the waiting was really worth it.

Just like I told Andy and Rodney, I have a lot of respects for the enthusiam and dedication that all of you have. Keep up the good games, and thx for everything including the new sticks and buttons. I felt really flattered.

I want to give an extra special thanks to Rodney, Andy, Adam, and Smurfu for their brotherhoods. What you guys said and did for me was simply amazing, and every word helped dealing with my otherwise an empty heart. Thank you brothers. Hats off to all of you.

Hey this is 'the other' Eric, (the silent Akira player with the hat getting owned all over the place). It was great getting together and playing against all of you guys. I was really impressed with the level of play and felt a little overwhelmed at times (most of the time...)

Thanks Maddy, Shang, Jerky and anybody else I forgot for coming, it was inspiring to say the least watching all of you in action.

And of course, thanks to the all NYC crew for being so friendly, cool and downright funny. Listening to all of you crack jokes is sometimes more fun than playing VF /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
