I'm new from Montreal, and need to know where are the arcades where you hang out to play VF4 (Evo or the new one)....? Please tell me! I have no idea where to play my favorite arcade game of all time...

Ok, I just went to that Metro Arcade up in Markham... Where is everybody! Every machine was being played on except for VF4...! I hope it's not like that all the time...
I come from Montreal, and I remember playing against challengers up until 2am every weekend! Oh well, that WAS like a year ago though...

It seems VF4 in Toronto is dead.

I keep checking back for some indication that this isn't true... but nobody's said/done anything to prove otherwise...

Where in the world did you use to play in Montreal?! Shit I couldn't find an arcade with the damn game at all... Hmm I have a week off at the end of March, I'll ask the g/f if she wants to "visit" TO.

Welcome to Toronto - and yes, it used to be more lively.

It's been a while - too long! - since we had the group together atthe FT machines and I must take blame. I have yet to install the card readers completely, as I justhave not had the time. I will make the effort this week and get the card readers and VerB up and running.

Who is available this Friday? (February 12th?)

blame shmame. If people don't play its not because you haven't put the card system together its because of time and inclination. You've done enough to ensure the possibility of playing exists (perks, like cards, are just that). People have to stop relying of others to make a scene for them and make arrangements for those players that are left with time to spend.

I hope the scene revives just because of the time and money investment of those that brought FT to Canada.

This is the reality of arcades, games and the reality of building a life. You live next door to the arcade and you're too busy to get in, those of us that live further...well you can imagine that it isn't an attractive communte if we're pressed for time.I personally cannot see myself having much time to play at all for the next four months at minimum.

I can come out to play, but the trouble is, I usually work Fridays. I get off at 11:00, though, so maybe I can bus down, or catch a ride from work, or something.

I am available for Friday. What time does the arcade close at? I can stay late no problem.

To answer the question for Montreal, I used to play next to Concordia University, on St Catherines street. Unfortunately, the place closed down (the fact is, people just stay at home and play on their playstations or CPUs... )... but it used to be awesome!!!

So yup, I'm ready to play for Friday night! Heehaw!

ive been away from the game almost since around x-mas break. Been pouring the hours into World of Warcraft. But this weekend Im gonna start up some evo and warm up a bit and hopefully see you guys friday along with my buddy Jason.
