I'll be confirming the details sometime later tomorrow - but essentially here's the plan:

Freeplay - $10/person
Start Time: Opening - 12:00pm-ish
Finish Time: Closing - 3:00am?

So, that's the deal. I think it's a great opportunity for newer people to the game as they get their money's worth. What we have done in the past to ensure everyone gets their fill, is that we implement a win-cap: if you win 4 in a row, then you're off /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif This way the gameplay flavour alternates as much as possible. It's a learning envrionment more than a competitive one in these freeplay madness events. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

There's a good chance I'll miss freeplay, if it's this Saturday. I'm supposed to be doing something with my girlfriend, and that has to take priority over games. Top 3 in my life would be school, work, girlfriend... and games in maybe 5th or 6th,

I still might be able to make it, I'm not 100% sure yet, but there's a good chance I can't. Don't change any plans on account of me, though (not that I thought you would /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif)... hopefully, I'll at least make it in for some games.

Friday Night FT Madness - November 19th

Hey gang. I'll be at Metro tonight around 9:00 or so. AFAIK, GodEater and Shroud are expected to bring their game tonight.

It was great to see Mall out last Sunday for the Freeplay Madness - hopefully he will pop by tonight and grace us with his Sarah....

Woot!

Shroud, Llan and I had a blast playing amongst ourselves tonight. It was very quiet at Metro so we turned in around 12am.

The machine was still set to Free Play from last Saturday and so Shroud and I got to play for free for about an hour and a half. NICE!

I dropped by very early and Shroud was there. There were some heavy button mashers that constantly bashing on our newly imported joystick and buttons.
We need to contact vince to turn off free play, or else I don't think our sticks/buttons can take that kind of punishment for long. /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif

free play was turned off once Llanfair arrived and he secured the keys. Not to worry about that. Hopefully it may have attracted people to play and get interested but I doubt it.

Dean, I don't know about the rest of the crew but I have friends from out of town (non VF folk) that will be occupying my time so I won't be able to get in any games. Most people tend to hook up on Friday's at Metro Square. That is probably your best bet.

It's about an hour away taking subway + bus...you basically want to get to Finch Subway Station and take the 53 bus, metro square is right after the IBM building on the left.
