Tampa Area VF4 Evo Tournament

yeah, a losers bracket would help. Since there still won't be taht much people.

 

I got the tournament begining at 7 but ,prolly after ppl
warm up it may start 8 or so. Still be there by 7 tho to
pay and register.

Thanx Saint for hosting the tourney. A bigger thanx goes out to Sanjuro and Big Boy for making the drive from Louisiana for the Tournament and matches. Hopefully we can get some of you tampa guys our way to work on some gameplay.

 

Saint Anger: Thanks a lot for hosting the tournament. Your wired warfare place is really nice. Future tourneys there would be awesome.

Best thing to do is run a few dates out and post them on this bulliten board. Ask the others what is the best time they can possibly come down. We can arrange it to where people can stay with me and some of the other orlando people and than all car pool down to tampa and have a tourney at the wired warfare.

Richard wanted me to talk about how much he enjoyed the matches with stomp, blondie & imf throughout the weekend and I feel I need to second that emotion. You guys just rock the house and that's all there is to it. Next time (March anyone?) the scales will be more balanced, I assure you.

Really the highlight of the weekend for me was anytime Blondie talked about VF. Despite the sabbatical it was clear that the love remained undimished and in the drive from tampa back to stomp's, Blondie uncorked "new guys just don't appreciate the violence of VF. That big Lau stomp for excellent or SDE counterhit. Violence." I just thought that was fucking beautiful. I'm glad you guys are back. Thanks again.

 

I think spring break is March 20-26. So I'm thinkin' of holding it Friday on the 24th. or Saturday on the 25th. Let me know which day is best for the most people to show. If anyone knows if this isn't the week of spring break let me know.

 

I'm glad to hear you got back in one piece sanjuro(fred). New guys truly don't understand the violence lol. The act of completely reading what another player is going to do and doing the MOST amount of damage based upon reading them entirely is not only violent, but keeps us coming back for more.

Saint- March whatever is good for me, school isn't an issue,but scheduling is. Just plan ahead. I'll work to get those days off and i'll be there for sure.

As far as days to get together, saturday nights are absolutely best for me. Tuesdays are good, but that's going to cut into potential sex time. But don't worry VF always over rules sex...... /versus/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Steak is self explainitory I suppose but the Shake to which they refer is the disquieting rumble of your colon within hours of your meal. Steak n Shake is refered to as Choke n Puke here. Classic gas for hours of fun. My symapthy goes out to your guys colons. I guess I've grown up with it, so maybe that's why I'm immune. Nothing compared to White Castles though.

I heard steak and shake was actually better than whitecastle, which i heard was only decent to begin with, so i'll try to avoid that place in the future if i ever get to make it out east.
