Tim- I have 5 more weeks, well I guess 4 and a half right now. I'm gonna be busy as all hell over the summer but hopefully I'll be able to find some free time for some games.

Amibatman-
I'm in the same boat as you with summer studies consuming my time, but vf is on that schedule too. Anytime you want games just call and we can plan something. I should have a two week break in the begining of may, so lets get some games in then.

Anyone(STL)-
I am free for some games tonight(friday) here at the 909, so PLEASE[/size] get your lazy rears in gear and come get some! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Anybody free for some games this coming weekend? It seems this place has turned once again into a ghost town. Game over? Bueller? Bueller?

Well heres the deal, my work schedule is gonna be pretty much everyday but Sunday 9am-5pm so my nights will be open, especially Saturdays.

Tim-I'm gonna be in Springfield until I think May18th so those first 2 weeks won't do me any good, sorry. I'll keep you updated once my summer starts as to when I'll be available.

I'll probably be down for Friday night at this point. Let's have one PS3 running VF and one running DR if possible.

So is anyone else showing up at Red's tomorrow? I talked to bad man and he acted like he was coming.

Red: The usual time I presume?

Anyone free friday or saturday night for some vfing? I would like to host here just one time since it seems red's is the place of choice most of the time. Also, I would like to give him a break from consistently hosting all the time. Post up and stop hiding all of you.

Peace^-^

Re: stlvf-a new generation

I haven't been able to practice lately either due to the broken stick and the inability to afford to get it replaced. Anyone know where to get the elecom converter? I heard that it works with the old PS2 sticks now.
Anyway, I doubt I'll be able to make it down that way this weekend. A friend's sister is turning 21 so we are going out drinking for that on Friday. Saturday might be a possibility. Have to see how it goes.
Red: You sucked even when you DID have the game! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

you can get a 600 buck system, but not replace a 60 buck stick! WTF. and when i can play the game all the time. that ass is mine

oh, and i wont post here to much longer. Alot of these threads are turning into system wars and so called high level players putting people down. zaibatsu all over again....back to Gears

Re: stlvf-a new generation

That's a shame you feel that way about these threads, because most of the people who post are just bsing about being the best etc. I would take it with a grain of salt and move on, but that's just me. Nobody in america has the right to even think for a moment they are on a world level playing field. We simply don't have the player amount to get there. Granted there might be a small % that travel alot and get what they need to improve, but still then they have it hard. Stl is a great example of simply lacking players or people that are interested in playing vf, because other games dominate. People here say they play, but it's casual and not hardcore and so they truely never get where they themselves feel they should be at on a playing level. I firmly think that socially playing vf will not net anyone what they truely want and vice versa with other vs. games. This is one reason why I choose to spend my time playing vf instead of other vs. games. I acknowledge my environment, but I still press on. I know one day I will see alot more players here, but for now I quit trying to push, prod, barder, mailorder players to play, because it's tiring and nets no results. I hope in your guys lifetime that you get bitten by the vf bug like me and can experience the love. I really can't explain it in words, but I truely hope it happens to you guys. Anyway, enough of the tangent and back to some games! What I want to see is the first to 10 with demonsoul vs. killbomb.

Less talk and more action!

Haha...Tim is the last person I would expect to be Don Kinging. I'm sure that battle will happen sooner or later for everyone to see.

Anyway, VF never took off in STL because it hasn't been easily accessible like Tekken. By that I mean no arcade to gather at and play a variety of people on a regular basis. I think if VF would have had something like that, it would be much bigger than it currently is.
