SoCal VF5 party with Shin! Starts TOMORROW!

Hey, I don't know if I'll make it tonight :X

Are socal guys doing anything on sat or sun? Maybe we can fit in a ranking battle or some small gathering for the people who can't make it during week days.

 

I cannot make it tonight either. I really, really want to play soon though.

 

Update for tonight!

Last I heard (4:09 pm Pacific Time or GMT -7), Srider and Shin will arrive between 8:00 and 9:00 pm. They'll play it by ear as to how long they stay (they're planning to go to San Diego some time tonight/tomorrow early am).

Last night was awesome. Tonight looks to be, too. Don't miss this rare chance to play VF5 with NorCal's best!

Two set-ups planned for tonight and I'll bring an additional display for a third should someone want to bring a PS3, game, and sticks.

Well,

Unsafe_Dan[/size] has arrived so HowBoutSum[/size] and I are taking turns with him in marathon battles. Unfortunately, Srider[/size] and Shin won't be done with dinner until around 11:00 pm and are planning to head straight to San Diego after that. They do not plan to stop here on the way.

Ah-hah! Ken__I[/size] has just arrived!

The rest of you are certainly welcome to show up. Call if you plan to come later tonight <s>as we'll call it a night if no one shows before midnight.</s> Damn. Too bad the notice for this whole event was so short.

There are rumblings of some Monday night VF5 action in the land of Sherman Oaks, however, these are only rumblings at this time - nothing definite. Watch this thread for more info as the weekend goes by.

Ahh - successful and quiet VF5 night. Ken__I[/size] and Unsafe_Dan[/size] just left. The last hour or two was spent working on back-stagger combos for Sarah. I think I'll sleep now.

Man, I love VF5 and the community comes with it. We're doing it here at the same time that NYC has action of its own.

Very cool, indeed.

Anyone have a picture of a super VF setup? I'm going to be doing an article for the Geek Monthly (www.geekmonthly.com) print mag talking about the underground VF scene. e-mail me - zach@zachrosenberg.com - I suppose I need to talk to Plague soon, since he's a major event-holder! But if any of you have a picture of monitor-upon-monitor of people battling it out, I'd love to see it!

yap. willy is such an awesome guy that I am thinking of visiting Los again this summar since maddy looks like quitting before this summar. I mean that is after EVO final. I will still have one month break after evo, and it is too long to stay in my dorm. tooooo boring.


maybe Ca,but I don't know which, Los or San Francisco, I will visit.


I assume I will visit NYC this winter in order to see smaff and beat ''the real YOSUKE''with my pai lolol
