I'm stranded at home. =( I'll be playing MW2 while longingly watching my friends list as you guys play VF. Why don't people warn me when they are leaving!?!?

Yo People - just checking in...good to see you all still around. I've been too busy in life, and have only had a chance to get on my 360 two nights a week - Friday and Saturday nights after midnight (after my baby and wife go to sleep). So I've been pretty much been playing MW2 midnight to 3am those nights (I have a nasty habit of hating to open the 360 and put another game in, so once a game's in it, it's there until I buy another!).

Anyway, wanted to just say what's up to all the people I used to talk to here...Plague, Phoenix, CaliJared, Brisal, etc etc.

Hey! Good to see you post again. If you feel like breaking your own rules, you can come to my house Thursday night for VF5.

For everyone else, too! VF! My house! Let's start at 7:30 pm and quit at 10:00 pm (unusually early - I have to drive guests to hotels after 10:00 that night).

The wife has classes on Thursday now! No Thursday Night VF for me

I will try and convince the wife to perhaps, in the future, allow people to come over to my place every once and a while to game.

Hello I have a Sherman Oaks location that, while smallish, can easily support 6-8 Players with NO wife / girlfriend aggro whatsoever. I have a 360 but with a broken VF5 disc that crashes anytime someone tries to play Shun (sad face), so please bring your own discs. I can arrange a second screen with advance notice, but a second console will need to be supplied unless you are willing to play some VF4E (my specialty , in which case I will happily put my PS2 to the task.

Um, Wednesdays are currently offlimits because those are my nights to play AD&D with friends. Any other nights are AOK.

I am a better-than-average bachelor cook, a good host, and more than capable of feeding a group of people with decent food and munchies. BYOB, though.

My friend and I are newbs to VF5, but we challenge ANYONE to dispute our VF4E skillz. Bring it!

Hey thanks Talis for having me over 2-3 weeks ago I know I've been missing but, work and engineering classes suck up your time.

Been playing more VF lately though my internet still blows, hopefully next thursday I'll be available.

Nooo, my xbox died yesterday from a broken fan. Not covered by warranty, damn you microsoft. 2nd dead 360, 4th dead xbox overall. *sigh*

I would send it in if it was actually going to be repaired and sent back to me. Oh wells, my warranty is expired anyway, time to open this bad boy up and do some electrical engineer-rigging.

Not that I want to give myself bad karma, but if your system died 4 times then it is something you are doing on your end.
My day one system died 2 years in (pretty good from what I hear) and I upgraded to an Elite and have had zero problems.

You might want to check ventilation and where you are plugging in your system.
