I ask that people refrain from that at gatherings. Too much liability. It's the same reason I don't endorse drinking.
I'm not personally against alcohol and pot. I'd prefer the event be about VF.

I'm looking at some flex schedule flights right now. (BTW is LAX or ONT cheaper to fly to?) ~$250 both ways is within the realm of possibility for me, but it looks like I'd have to leave STL on Wednesday morning and get to LA sometime in the evening. I have a few friends in the area but I have no clue what their schedules are like, so I'll look into it.

Hope you can make it.

In regards to airports, ONT is 10-15 minutes from my house while LAX is around 90 minutes by car. Don't know about the price differences.

well shit, i was checking it out, and i could get a round trip ticket for $281 plus tax (ontario int'l airport ). Only thing is, i'd be getting in on the 26th and staying the night at the airport, lol. Damn. I just might be going to this thing!!!!!!!!! I need to check my work schedule tomorrow.

Having some issues with my debit card at the moment, we'll see if the tickets still have the same price once they're resolved....fuck, this sucks guys.

around 500 for round trip and hotel, but would have to leave on the 30th....

Ninja1011, if you love the game and want to see the game how it's meant to be played, and the incredible VF community at its finest, then you should definitely go to this thing! I went by myself a few years ago, not even a hotel, and I couldn't have found a more awesome experience with such a variety of (equally) incredible people.

As for me, sorry guys but the money situation doesn't allow me to participate this time around. I know it'll be amazing, and it sucks that I can't join you all, but I know this one will be just as good, if not better, than all those that have come before it!!

Seriously, if ANYONE is on the fence for this event, take advantage of the opportunity and GO!! You won't regret it!!
