I think ear plugs are a must. I work third shift. If you wanna sleep in a potentially noisy environment, they do wonders.

I'm considering buying a sleeping bag once I'm there... maybe I could bum a ride to walmart or kmart? No big deal... Like Cozby, I plan on using my luggage bag as a pillow.

Konjou and Adam, I believe Cozby and I are on the same departing flight out of ONT on Sunday night into Houston. Would it be okay to ride with you if there's room in your rental car after the gathering back to the airport?

I'll wait to see Terminator... damn them for making a PG-13 Terminator movie. It should be R. Most likely there'll be a director's cut released in 6 months or so... I can wait.

You guys all have soldering irons, right? I'm bringing my modded hori stick, and chances are it will need repair while in Cali. Usually a wire breaks or a switch goes wonky. I'd hate to have something I could repair break down and then be stuck with a paper weight for the duration of the gathering.

Finally, I'm a huge F1 fan. Plague, do you get Speed TV? The Monaco Gran Prix is Sunday morning. It would start at 4:30am to 7am. I'd love to be able to see it live, but I could just tape it and watch it when I get home Tuesday.

Oh yeah! Did someone say hentai?

It contains 3 different version, and you need a special code(82997) to open on menu to see the last version "sunshine" ending.

This BD is about 45GB. If anyone needs it, just let me know and bring your hard drive.

If you are doing the "LAX and then take the train to Riverside" thing, let me know when you will be at the station (and whether it's Rancho Cucamonga (SBDO Line) or Pedley (Riverside line).

I've got five LCD displays so we're OK there. If you REALLY want to bring a display, it couldn't hurt to have more just in case.

Not sure if i will be able pick up anyone from LAX. i'm not even sure what time i'll be available on the 21st. However, i will be there!!

You guys are getting a car*, correct? I need not pick you up as far as I know.

*Get a BIG van (15 passenger) so you can take people to see Terminator, get to Gerald's place on Saturday, etc.

I still don't know WHEN you are arriving and leaving, though.

 

We're gonna arrive Wednesday the 20th 10:39 am. We leave early Monday the 25th.

And we are gonna rent a car, probably an SUV like last time.

For your vehicle, I stress the bigger the better only because Catherine and I are staying home on Terminator night and our vehicles won't be available to transport players.

 

Richard and I arrive noonish on Wednesday and leave 10amish on Monday. We are renting a "full size car".

yup, I'll be stuffing as many people in that car as can stand it!

 

Heh, I remember stuffing 5 people in my Honda CRX back in VF3 days. My CRX only had 2[/size] passenger seats /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif The smallest guy, Lan Bui, (remember him?) got stuck riding in the trunk. God, now that I think about it, that was an incredibly unsafe way to travel.

Please, for my piece of mind, don't overload your vehicle. If you have an accident, extremely bad things could result.

i will be arriving at LAX on Wednesday afternoon and leaving on Sunday early morning 12:20am early heh. i cant wait to met everyone. i have heard alot of good things about the past events in SoCal from AdamYuki and Konjou. Seeya this Wednesday.
