SoCal VF Party, March 27th-30th, 2008

About what time will you be coming? That will help us determine what freeway would be better traffic-wise.

Edit: Never mind, didn't know about the 215 construction. 15 sounds like the right choice.

 

The 15 it is then, I was making directions using Google maps so was just wondering which one was better.

I get out of work Thursday evening so I'm deciding whether or not to take off that night or early Friday morning. If that night, to get to Plague's house non-stop would take approximately 6-7 hours. Which means I'll get there around 3AM, kinda late but traffic is a lot better that late at night. If morning then I'm gonna hit traffic like crazy and I won't be there till late afternoon at best.

I go to the Tustin/Irvine/Santa Ana (Orange County) area all the time to visit family, and it gets boring if I go alone with no one to talk to on the way, lol. Plague lives near Riverside which is even further so you can imagine...

I plan to stay the entire time as I'll be in spring break.

 

So since it is getting closer, I was curious... should we be preparing to take a taxi from the airport, or have you recorded the times and someone will be doing "airport runs". I just want to know how I should plan. Thanks.

Pinetree, I'm down for splitting the cost of a room. Doesn't look like there's any other takers so what do you think, get a two bed room or a one bed and take turns sleeping on the floor?
I'm cool with whatever. Also, what day do get to Cali? I will be there this Tuesday at 11pm.

Plague, I bought a 360 with VF5 today (Hooray for me!) and I will be bringing it along with a Hori stick that magically appeared in my mailbox.
I will give Incident a call and let him know about posting his itenary info. He might also be bringing his 360 with game and stick.
One last thing, if it's not too much trouble, could you please pick me up from the airport too?

Feel bad cause I'm not that close to others in arrival and departure times, but I'm willing to wait longer or go earlier if it makes life easier.

Well I won't be at Plague's until Friday, so you'll have a couple days until I get there. I'll get a room at the Motel 6 that Plague recommended, which can you tell us which one exactly it is Plague? I looked at the website and there's quite a few Motel's, just making sure before I book it.

KoD also expressed interest in sharing a room so I'm thinking we can split it in three if he's cool with it; which will make it that much cheaper for all of us. Looking at the rates and for two nights (Fri-Sun morning) it's around $112, which split in three is around $38, not bad at all. This is for a two beds. We're only gonna sleep there considering we'll all be at Plague's house so we don't really need no fancy hotel. Let me know if you guys are cool with this, and I'll book it.

Also, I'll have a car so we'll have transportation to Plague's house and wherever we need to go. Although I've never been to that part of California so I won't know where to go, haha.

I'll be passing by SD since I'm coming from Arizona.

I guess since the Louisiana guys are coming around the same time you can pick us all up Plague if they are not renting a car.

Rodney(Konjou) is on the same flight as Adam and Monty. Adam is renting a car at the airport.

 

Renzo and Enfantin_Chloe are arriving almost exactly the same time as you to ONT. No need for you to taxi. I can drop those two off at the house and continue to Motel 6. It's very easy.

 

I think I can get 001 or Scamp to pick me up when I arrive.. As far as departures.. I dont know yet...

Haunts - you will get a ride and the team tourney won't start without you unless your flight is horribly horribly delayed.
