Head count time!! For the sake of planning on Plague's part, let's get a head count of all those who are coming for the party. Plague and I talked about some potential events outside of VF at LA, if we can get an idea of who all are showing that will help tremendously. At the very least, we can figure out how many TV's we need.

Please post your Name, planned days of attendance, itinerary if applicable, and if you can maybe help with bits of transportation. Might add if you are bringing TV's, PS2, games, sticks etc.

Match format?

-First to 15 matches;
-winner needs a 2 win margin over the loser to declare victory;
-limit cap at 30 matches (a.k.a. If it keeps going back and forth, first to get to 30 wins);
-every 5 matches, switch 1P and 2P positions as well as picking a new stage;
-a 5-10 minute break every 10 matches;
-not allowed to switch characters;
-5 round matches...

anyone want to come really early? (if plague allows)
comic-con group needs to leave around 11-12, at latest 1, so that our host is awake enough to unlock the door when we arrive. So I want to come in a bit early and get as much VF as possible.

In shang's defense, I find it pretty sad that shang mans up to buying a ticket first, then continues to get mocked. Reputation built aside, I find myself canceling a ticket too, if I just blew $600 and continued to get no respect. In essence, a catch 22 was created for shang, a lose lose situation.

Bullshit. Respect is something you earn and Shang's attitude on VFDC puts him majorly in respect debt. Any situation here that Shang finds unfavourable was pretty much created by him. How is that unjust?

So far, the only plans Catherine and I and VF guests have for Friday besides playing VF are eating lunch and dinner. Haven't quite decided where (home or out) or when for either of those things. Once I know when you want to show up, I can adjust and say yes, no, etc.

I actually haven't but I get along with Shang when we bump pixels on SFII or just blather on IRC. I am more than willing to bet that if I got my ass down to Boston I'd enjoy myself in his company. That said, I have never accepted the "IRL" argument. The way you present yourself is the way people see you. If that later comes back in a bothersome manner I think you should suck it up. No one owed Shang anything for buying a airline ticket, I don't know why you would think they did.
