Hmm I think it would be convenient for Plague if those who pre-ordered the DVD reconfirm their contact info through PM, regardless if their info has changed or not. This way Plague does not have to chase people for it. The man did all the hard work already. Thank you Plague!

Any chance my 2 copies shipped yet? [IMG] I'm dying to see what you have done with all the interviews and crowd reaction shots.

btw congrats on being the first and only person to actually complete a DVD for the community! Thank you!

The dvd I'm sure is a work of art and congratulations for all the effort gone into it. It was preceded by the I love VF, 65 min., 2 dvd set. Kyasao hand received a copy to which he can personally verify. This preceded the widespread use of youtube. The DVD's ISO were available on bit torrent. Sal had a mirror. Oddly, when I last went back to nyc I found lots of movies spanning old vf3 to vf4 matches and a poorly compressed version of the DVD. I uploaded a few of those VF3 and VF4 matches on my youtube channel.

I found that if you youtube "I love VF" Hyatogi uploaded the 20 minute DVD rip of disc 2 that I sent Sal. A really clear headshot of Jerky is in 3:04-3:15 as he strategizes with the guys, screaming ensues at around 19:00 and a nice shout out goes to a former active member that ends out the casuals DVD. I apologize as many of you might not have seen it, but that doesn't mean it wasn't made. I left it up to the community to distribute if they cared enough about it. In hindsight this was a poor immature choice born out of frustration in people I formerly felt wanted to play the game and take all the benefit they could. Plague is a warrior in every sense of the word. I certainly couldn't handle the complaints I read on this thread before anyone saw the final work. It takes a friend to trust someone will deliver regardless of time. It takes a random person to complain when someone is making a work in progress. I didn't order a DVD, but I freely offer praise and encouragement to a guy who I see is talented and trying his best using volunteer time. I would never complain to a non-profit volunteer for not doing something, doubly so if the volunteer was still working on the task. That, unfortunately, is not a view not shared by everyone here. People take their school and work expectations into fun and leisure time. Plague is a friend, not your employee as some comments are expressed. That is a recipe for sour feelings since both sides of the relationship coin will feel dropped.

Back to the point, I tried to upload the whole 65 minute DVD set in 2009 to youtube once but was rejected due to "length too long". The first disc was 45 minutes, the max I could figure out how to cleanly compress for a TV picture as the source footage was a huge file and of poor quality. That 45 minutes included music vid intro, everyones first match with Kyasao and the firehouse footage. I'm positive some of you have seen the video, though you may have forgotten. The HQ file might be floating around somewhere on Sal's backup. I managed to up the intro for the first 45 min. disc to my youtube channel. The second 20 minute disc was the casuals as you see ripped online. To avoid cluttering things here, just PM me if you would like to have a copy.

I definitely didn't put in the time he did, but what time I could spare then was. My amatuer work can't compare to Plague's and the info above is incase a handful of you care about the older stuff that had taken place. The new generation, of course, is where the action is at [IMG] Take care guys.

Andy, I asked for money in exchange for a product. People paid. I'm OK with them expecting a product two and a half years after they sent payment.

Everyone: I am receiving your address PM's. Keep them coming.

Talis, you're a good guy, patient of flames and a warrior like I said. I couldn't deal with the comments you got...you're much more tolerant. The DVD was your labor of love for the community and the hours you put in probably couldn't be bought from you for the kind of funds you've collected for the DVD's. I'm not hiding that in my vain sentiment, Jerky's vaporware and Rodney's first and only comments just rubbed me the wrong way as my efforts are also a labor of love. No one remembers that "awesome work" or that I made the DVD, instead I get Jerky's reply and as you will get "I hope it doesn't take 3 years" the next time someone suggests making a DVD. That's why I made that comment about the time you put in....the flames are loosely justifiable for the money you charged...which begs the question...would a friend say that to you? These same people will praise you after watching the DVD only to forget a month later.

You can see the angle I'm getting at. Past contributors long before you and I, or as recent as David (Srider) in VF5, feel like this community doesn't appreciate anyones work. What kind of friends or even radom acquaintances are those? I know you're ok with the comments you got. Once again, though maybe my lone opinion, thanks for loving the community and being tolerant of the people here.

Bottom line Azusabo... when you paid cash money for something the customer is always right. You could tell it until your face turns blue.. 2 and half years is a long time for anything to drop especially if you paid for it already.

As for all that community does'nt appreciate anyones work.... then i guess Myke keeps this forum going for his own VF health.. Get the fuck outta here. don't let the 5% who don't appreciate be the general say.

I have a feeling that Plague has all the videos and t-shirts ready to go, but he is waiting for after the holiday season so they don't get lost in the mail. I am curious if they haven't got sent out yet when they will get sent out?
