SoCal VF 2009 DVD progress

Been studying website usability as of late. I put the result of that work into the menus and chapter icons. They look good. They work. Time to make the fake disc image and alter it so that it becomes the real one.

 

DVD Menu is done. Fake disc image and DVD master (for menu testing) have been made. All that's left is to break apart the fake image, plug in the real videos, turn it into the REAL disc image, and convert it into a master.

I just bought 50 DVD+R DL discs.

OK. Fuck you, iDVD. Twenty six hours of this weekend wasted. Time to use a different authoring program.

 

...or maybe I woke with a new strategy. The battle continues.

 

OK. Back on track. My plan seems to be working. Last challenges are getting a disk image that's 8.4 GB and a menu that doesn't fuck up.

 

If you don't insist DVD format, then everything will be very simple. Well, but I'd like to see the menu to be honest.

I think most people will watch this DVD on PC system, which means DVD format is not necessary I guess.

 

It's going to work as far as I can tell. Gonna be hammering away on it this Sunday. I'll keep you all up to date.

 

Just gotta re-encode to trim off about 100 mb. So close.
