Since some of the socal regulars might be having trouble with space I am offering some space.

Things to note:
1) I have 2 spaces maybe 3. One being a couch, the second a shared king size bed, and third the floor
2) I live 30 minutes from Arcade Infinity 40 minutes from Plague's house, 30 Minutes from Ontario Airport, and 30 minutes from LAX
3) The place to sleep lasts till Sunday 26th as I have to go to work on Tuesday the 28th and I would like to get my rest on Monday.

So if needed the space is open, just reply or PM me if interested.

Myke just got the carpeted floor space a couple days ago. There's some space on the stone floor if you want. If it were me, I'd go for a spot at LPC73's place.

i am looking at other expenses i need to figure out travelling from UK to america~. and how to travel around as ive never been to america before /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Hey can any of you Americans be kind enough to find out how much a single ticket cost is to get from LA to SLC Utah then Utah to London, England is?

If it's cheap, you might have another UK'er coming to visit. I'm friends with BK_. I was gonna visit a friend of mine who lives in Utah in April but if this is cheap then I'll make the trip to the meet then fly to Utah afterwards.

You can sleep at my pad on Sunday night, but if your staying in Los Angeles till Monday or longer then you will need to find another place to stay.

Financially you shouldn't need to spend to much. You will already have a place to stay and food can be pretty cheap ($5-10 per meal). Arcade Infinty shouldn't be to bad ($5-$10 a trip)

It gets expensive if you decide to vist places. Amusement Parks being the most expensive (easy $100)

All in all its a good time to visit Los Angeles because you will be saving on transportation, sleeping quarters, and the weather should be great..

btw I actually have more space than 3... I can fit 6 total, but when it reaches 3 or more then Floor space is all that is left and you need to bring pillows blankets etc..

Which brings me to my next point. Plague might also agree on this. What to bring:

1) PS2 systems, and VF game (cables, plugs etc.) NTSC only Pstwos would be perfect
2) Joystick or controller (bring what you use)
3) VFNET card(s) if you have them
4) Sleeping accessories, when it reaches a certain number we might run out (pillows, blankets, etc..) <ok that might be at my apt. only> /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif
5) A smile on your face because you will have a GREAT time /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

socal as of the moment can probably provide 5 total setups
3tvs / 2 ps2's / 2 sticks Plague
1tv / ps2 / 1 stick GoatCheeseBlues
1tv / ps2 / 2 sticks Myself

Theres a definate shortage of sticks. Hopefully we can get 1 more tv and 2 PS2's. Although its up to Plague where we set it up. BBQ seems to be the plan for Sat night. Probably going to need a little bit of cash from everyone to cover the meat costs. More details as we figure this out.

Well, fricking Alex finally convinced me ... damn it ...

Flying in on the 23rd, I'll be at ONT at about 4:00 PM. Staying until the 27th, flying back to OAK at 1:00 PM.

Really looking forward to seeing you all again =)

WOW!! this seems like it has spawned into its own US/Global event

One thing though.... With all these players playing FT. AI is going to be a huge headache as well as a long ass wait.

So I was wondering...does anyone actually have a FT disc that they could bring? Maybe we could set up something with AI where they could get two setups going.

Just a thought.

are you sure you are going there !? If you go to los, you don't have to come to PA, right?
this is a just suggest that you could go to New York. I mean a lot of players are in New York, on the other hand, only 2 players are in Phi. I much prefer you to come to PA rather than go to New York since Phi is my town, but there are much more fun than here.
